As with so many other tidbits, it's not really conclusive that a move will happen but the mole hill of circumstantial evidence is very much resembling a mountain nowadays.

Thanks BRT. While some people hold press conferences, Stan quietly goes about his business.

Here's the article:

Rams’ contracts hint at relocation

St. Louis Rams’ annual contracts with some employees and advertisers have run from May to May.

But this year, while the team is rumored to be eying the Los Angeles market, those contracts have been changed, and now coincide with the National Football League’s deadline to submit relocation bids, according to people familiar with the matter.

IT consulting firm Perficient’s sponsorship contract now runs to the end of February 2016, according to Bill Davis, a company spokesman.

NFL teams have between Jan. 1 and Feb. 15 to submit relocation bids. Kroenke appears set to submit such a bid now that he has assembled land and plans to build a stadium as part of a $2 billion development in Inglewood, California.

The Rams did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Davis said he noticed the changed dates, and asked the Rams about it.

Rams officials told him the team was changing its contracts to coincide with the end of the playing season, according to Davis. The Super Bowl is held in early February.

A Rams employee who works on an annual contract said it was also changed, and now expires at the end of February 2016.

“To me, right away, it made sense,” said the employee, who asked not to be named for fear of reprisals. “As a business, they have to notify the league in February if they are moving, so why would they want to pay people beyond February? They didn’t say that was why, but I put two and two together.”

We have to give credit where credit is due. Stan at least is letting employees know ahead of time that they won't be needed. Like the guy said in the article, put 2 and 2 together.

Carson is announcing a stadium authority which is not actually news Bc we knew this. They were going to follow the financial footprints of levis Stadium Bc Goldman Sachs was behind Carson. As far as Carson Policy, he's just a guy to talk to the media and go to meetings and blah blah blah. He's basically a Mark Fabiani type of dude. These things aren't really big news but then you have Major Robles making it sound like its big news.

Telling your sponsors and employees that once the super bowl is over and the league year is over, they won't be retained. Now that is news. That is a big thing, think about it. Let me see SD or Oak do that.

Mountain indeed. It does seem more and more like an uphill (mtn) battle for the Gov and task force and I sense they are starting to get more agitated. As are the fan posters. That's a bit to early to know but that's surely another tell, , , along with the practice in Oxnard, Rams executives taking jobs elsewhere, fan-fest changes, some sponsor disconnect, last 2 games on the road, senators vowing to be walls, other senators writing bills in opposition, American Indian burial site concerns, aldermen saying they might not fund the deal if passed , several lawsuits , , , , ,geez. Is this business as usual or should someone be taking the hint?

Now if they prevail, they deserve some props for their tenacity and success through all this.

All this really tells me (again) is that Mr Kroenke want's to and is very likely going to move the Rams away from StL. Why start shutting down your local business if you intend to do further business. And why would he take the chance unless he has little/no doubt that he is leaving?

In Stans mind, he's gone ( I'd bet on it). The only discussion left is how to make it happen running down hill, east - west, no juking, bull elephant backfield style. Eliminate the competition. Vee haff VAYS of making hyu tok kind of stuff... lol

St. Louis fans are quick to dismiss this. But like moklerman said, the molehill is building into a mountain. Just another clue along the way.

They're holding on to the fact that nothing has been said by the organization. But it would be dumb to come out and say we're moving next year. No one would go to the games if that happened.

Exactly. If you were leaving, why make a lame duck season even lamer? And that makes you wonder what SD is up to, why so public? Can't help but think it's a threat to get stuff done in SD as much as anything else.

BTW, posters without avatars, consider having one...

Kroenke's modus operandi is readily apparent. This should have been made clear to everyone in StL when Stan bought the Rams right from under Khan.

Stan was very quiet, then at the last minute he swooped in and exercised his option to buy the Rams leaving Khan in the cold and the media with their mouths open.

Now we have the Carson boys talking it up and the media giving them all the hype. And here we go again. Stan will close the deal at the opportune time.
