Just curious here. Most of the time I think they are pretty accurate, but the after listening to McVay's glowing comments and then seeing cb Forbes as a third stringer causes me pause. Where do the major sports sites get this type of info?

Any depth chart you see now is probably from last year. It's too early for one now. At most they will adjust to eliminate roster cuts. After that I would think they simply use what is posted by the teams.

I would say the Espn sports reporters, Travis Rodgers, Doug McKain, and others,
to include DeMarco Farr, Kirk Morrison as the football experts.
I would say it's basically simple, they are there at the OTA's,
and they watch how they line up as 1st, 2nd and 3rd string, on their 11 vs 11. or 7 vs 7.

I made a post with OTA video, and I was looking how the OL lined up as 1st, 2nd & 3rd string.
It was basically the same.
