Raiders looking trade corner Jack Jones - que Bob Carl with the insider info and evaluation. Last year of his deal. Not much in guaranteed $$. Proven player for a late round pick??? Lessens the need in the draft a bit. If he looks really good in camp, extend him for 2-3 years.

Thoughts.

I say wait until he's released Monday if they're interested.

That’s somewhat of a hindrance, Elvis. But, if he is starter material, that is cheap. Not as cheap as rookie. But also not as risky. I do agree that getting him after he’s released would cost less. But, you are competing with 30 other teams. Or at least a number of other teams. The Rams need quality bodies at CB. They have at least 4 with only one year left with the team.

Oh i was just putting it out there. Why are Raiders releasing him? Does he fit what the Rams are looking for? Those would be my questions...

And there’s the release. I’d take a run at him.

Knucklehead. Off field issues. Rams prob won’t be interested. Should have researched this prior to my post. Good player though.

If he can't make it on a marginal defense....

His attitude issues go back to his collegiate days where he had issues. It looks like he hasn't changed. He's average physically, and athletically. He's had some success but apparently not enough to offset his issues.

Hopefully, the Rams have moved on from JAG type players. But he looks like a bad fit for this locker room.

I like this. He can be another Akello Witherspoon.
