Regardless of draft round, pick 2 if you can't decide on one.

I think you're strategy makes a lot of sense given our circumstances. Why take unnecessary risk here, and let 4-5 QB's shoot it out during TC to see what we've really got.

Goff and Wentz imo are the two best. I like Lynch as well but he's behind those two the other name I like a lot is Jacoby Brissett. He's somebody that would benefit from sitting behind a vet but I like the skill set a lot.

I can;t answer directly because I don't make it favorite qb in the draft, I make it favorite for the Rams.

For me that also means not spending huge draft resources in a year when the qb position is not rich at the top but does have intriguing depth. That means trading down or using a 2nd or a 3rd.

It also means I have a couple of favorites. I would put both Prescott and Allen, based on their senior bowl showings. They fit more into the Andy Dalton/Russell Wilson range of viable qbs for a team with a defense.

(Not saying Dalton is Wilson, that's a range...this year Dalton grew into the job more. Put the 2015 Dalton on the 2016 Rams and IMO they are better).

I'd go with Goff first, Wentz second. I still don't see them picking a quarterback. I see them trying free agency or a trade. They do have an extra second round pick to dangle as bait if there is a trade to be had. Whether or not they go QB in the second round depends on their view of Mannion. If in their estimation the available quarterbacks in the draft aren't any better there is no point in picking one.

I'm not a quarterback evaluator. So I have no idea how they will grade these guys. But I have a gut feeling this is not the year for a franchise quarterback. I still see them going for another position. I've said before, if there's a defensive stud at 15 I can't see Fisher passing on him.

This team is going to hang its hat on the defense and run game. They could lose a key piece or two in free agency. I can see Fisher trying to maintain a good defense. Defense does win championships. But offense gets you there.

Actually you can.

My intent was for posters to pick the QBs they think would work best for the Rams. Also, I said regardless of round. And by that I meant to take into account value.

So for example, if you like Prescott for the Rams and you think Prescott is an optimum value in a later round then just pick him and state what round you think he'd go in, like the 3rd.

I like him and I almost picked him except I fear that he may not be a good fit for Fisher.

Well except it's 2. Allen AND Prescott (so far). Right now I can't separate the 2 though at this point Allen looks better to me (comeback wins in college, etc, and the hand thing never bothered me).

It's not that hard, old timer.

You don't have to decide between them. You just pick them both. That's how this poll works. And I did it for silly old guys just like you (and me).
