So 2016 will be the 80th year since the Rams inception in 1937.

However, they did not field a team in 1943.

Sooooo.....is this coming season their 79th or 80th anniversary?

I'll try sending off a tweet to Demoff/Rams and see what I get back.

If it's the 80th (and 50th in LA) I would expect a lot of celebrations/acknowledgements.

They were HORRIBLE about promoting their 75th anniversary.

Fanning,Havenstein, .. Wouldn't 2017 be the 80th season then? And if they don't count the WW2 off year then 2017 would be 79th?
