He was already trending downward last year with the Bears. Stafford, a long term veteran, knows that he sucks and doesn't even look for him. AR's positioning and effort on the end zone jump ball were truly pathetic. His moves/cuts wouldn't fool a high school CB. This guy plain ass sucks.

Worse, Tutu the shitty smurf can't even make the active roster let alone get in the game. The whole issue with picking shitty Tutu over Creed has been beat to death, but the point is why take a shitty smurf in the 2nd round??? Any OL, DL, LB would have been far more helpful.

But the greater sin is to blow out Robert Woods who was a proven talent, and pay Robinson similar cash. What a cluster. The Rams will then eat the rest of the dead money when Robinson gets blown out next year. That AR clown wouldn't even see the field (joining Tutu on the inactives) if Van and OBJ were healthy and out there.

What a joke.

Robinson has been a major disappointment.

There was a ton of hype coming out of training camp by posters here and the beat writers. What has happened? Im not watching the all 22, but so far I see someone who appears slow and those attempts last night in the endzone were concerning. It was good defense for sure, but he looked pretty feeble on those attempts.

The question is why did the Rams feel like he was an upgrade over Woods. That was 100% to do with trusting that Woods would come back from the knee injury. It sounds like the Rams were pretty concerned about that especially if they were going to be depending on OBJ at some point. The issue now, without Jefferson we have nothing to threat the defense down field. I wasnt happy when I say that Tutu wasn't up, only because at least he could sprint down the field and take come coverage with him.

Defenses will be just creeping up and crowding the LOS And the underneath routes. No one respects our offense deep. That’s where not using Tutu is such a sin. But him in the game is a massive “tell”. He can’t run block. If he’s in the Rams are throwing or he’s a decoy and W less blocker in the run game. That pick is looking like a massive gaffe now more than ever.

Injuries are flat robbing us of this season. Just too many to overcome, at least for the first half of the season. And sadly, more will come. That’s just the nature of this game.

I second the comment on the jump ball.

Thinking, well, that would have been a tough catch... But he sure didn't seem to fight very hard to go get it. OBJ made that same catch for us in the SB with a guy's arm all up in his arms and grill. He said that is my ball and I'm getting it.

AR seemed to say, my hands are here, put them where my hands are and if the ball gets there, super.

I've seen nothing in a game that gives me any hope for him.
We need VJ & OBJ in the worst way. Hopefully we can stay in the hunt until they (and some of the Oliners) return.

Let’s define stay in the hunt. We need to be leading or tied in the division, regardless of record. Or, we have to have the best wild card record. And that has to be at Thanksgiving if we are talking OBJ. I can see him saying, no-this is a dumpster fire. Or yes, I can be the difference maker and it will land me major $$$ later. Before then, the OL has to get healthy, VJ has to get healthy, the run game has to improve dramatically, and Staff has to protect the ball better. The defense is going to keep improving although the pass rush is weak and needs som scheme tweaks if ya ask me. That’s a lot of “ifs”. The Rams can do this. It remains to be seen if they will get luckier and more confident to actually do it.

"Stay in the hunt" to me means hope to make the playoffs and go from there

So, kind of like last year, except two months earlier

OBJ's first 4 games with the Rams: 12 receptions, 101 yards, 2 TDs
A-Rob's first 4 games with the Rams: 9 receptions, 95 yards, 1 TD

Not really that big a difference, particularly in receiving yards.

The point?

Its a bit too early to write-off A-Rob.

Just sayin'

Teams have been playing a lot of deep shell against us and our Oline is a mess, hard to stretch the field with that going on. Also we've been playing the best defenses in the NFL.

For a lot of reasons, things should improve over time but we'll see...
