just stumbled across fish's presser following the rams loss to the niners to end the season, among his comments:

"case played well enough for us to win... hard to lose a game when you don't turn the football over..."

http://www.therams.com/videos/videos/Je ... 1d0e747af9

good friggin' grief... case completed 59.5% of his passes for a qb rating of 77.6, the equivalent of a 29th and 30th ranking, respectively... on 3rd downs case completed just 1 of 9 passes as the rams ended up converting just 3 of 12 3rd downs on the day... 5.1 yards per offensive play? the equivalent of a 27th ranking... if not for the rams' defense setting up case & the offense on the niners 3-yard line, thanks to a 42-yard pick and run by simms, the rams' offense would have been shut out of the endzone, would have only score 6 offensive points on the day, 12 if you want to count the 2 botched field goals... but fish jots this one down as game the rams could have won because case played well enough, and no doubt because boras did his job well enough too... the horror, the absolute horror...

game tied 16-16 late in the 4th, case can't decide on a target on 3rd down, ends up throwing a bad incompletion, 3 & out... for those with game pass, just watch case's 3rd down passes, if you can stomach it...

Image

3rd & 5 to welker on a shallow cross, wide open, easy first down or td if keenum just puts the ball in his hands, instead throws it wide and well out of reach, had to settle for a field goal...

Image

3rd & 3, late and high to an open quick, incomplete, almost got quick killed...

so tired of rams amateur hour offenses...

Does Fisher even watch other teams play football?

I love how Fisher and other idiots point to the fact that they easily could have won 2 or 3 more games and be a playoff team. They never point out that they also easily could have lost another 2 or 3 games and be 4-12 or 5-11.

Fisher plays it to keep the game close and hope to win it in the 4th quarter. Loser mentality. He really needs to go.

And no - Keenum did not play well enough - not even close.

It was at an event so he wasn't going to bash a player that he may have to start at some point next year if he's resigned. The problem is that at least at this point there aren't to many other options available in the fa market.

nope, didn't take place at the event, the presser took place on monday 01/04, the day after the rams' loss to the niners, you can see the edward jones logos in the background... re options? i'd rather see what mannion has than see keenum start next season, heck i'd rather see foles get another shot before trotting keenum out again...

I'm hoping this is just spin because Case Keenum won't lose you games from time to time, but he's not going to win you games either. I feel strongly the Rams will have a new QB come 2016 they won't have Keenum as the starter for their 50th season in Los Angeles.

IMO, they will either trade up for Jared Goff because of the allure and natural partnership or they will draft Lynch or Wentz and sign a free agent like Chase Daniels or somebody else and that guy will be their starter, but as always JMHO.

My hope from this is Keenum will be the veteran in camp and Foles is let go. We spend #15 on Wentz and along with Mannion the three compete for the job. Keenum might end up starting early but Wentz ends up taking over.

Give me that and a proven OC and I'm happy.

Not sure we get the second part unfortunately. And if we don't I have a feeling Fish is one and done in LA as coach. I'd wager Demoff after the move ends up with a promotion where he supervises more of Kroenke's endeavors and Fisher moves into a position over Snead.

Side note I just saw DeFelippo was released from his Browns contract, maybe now we bring him in?

If Fish puts out a season like last ones then he'll bury himself in LA. Fish has got to realize this. If he doesn't perform now, he really has no one else to blame but himself.
