Wide out, Ilber, Oline and RB have got to be on top of this list.
I hope we don't spend a high pick on a RB--there are always some good rushers available after the draft. We already have two young, talented backs.
I hope Snead changes his draft strategy this year and focus's on getting a highly desired guy at wide out (elite speed, deep receiver); ILber who could come in and push to start; and Oline--
I'd like to move up in the second and take LT Jackson out of USC (maybe for our 2nd and a 3rd?). He will be a future LT, who is NOT too tall to also play OG now. Then, after Noteboom gets healthy, we have insurance that we will have a young, talented LT going forward, and the loser between those two can start at LG.
I think Jackson, alone would provide the depth and quality that is needed on our Oline.
It would also allow us to move on from Whit next year (creating about $9mil in space), because very little is guaranteed after this year. Then, look wide out and Iber in our middle rounds----------hell, IF the guys Snead values cause us to move up, I really don't care if he trades even one of next year's picks mid rounders to fill those other two roster voids.

I'm sticking with WR and RB or RB and WR with the first two picks. McVay prolly asked Staley, who would you like in free agency? Robinson and Floyd? Okay. You get round 4 in the draft. :D 8-)

The beauty is, if you can call it that, they have enough needs to where they really can draft the best player at any number of positions: WR, RB, Edge, ILB, OL

agree, but if there's a good looking edge guy available during their first at bat, i don't see how they can pass him up.

I hope they stay away from drafting a RB, WR, TE, and QB in this draft. I'm OK if we get them as UDFAs.

Still need OG, OT, CB, NT, Edge, ILB, PK.

I'm high on Logan Stenberg OG Kentucky. Would love to have him in horns.

Jack, the reason I like LT Jackson so much is he would be like drafting two guys. He can play OG but what if Noteboom doesn't recover to play LT next year? Then we almost have to keep paying Whit, right?

Yep: ranking by need - Edge, OT, ILB, RB, WR - they have Woods, Kupp, and Reynolds plus Webster. A speed guy would be nice. But, running more 12-personnel puts only 2 WRs on the field. Reynolds is a fine #3 and Henderson can line up anywhere. I see us coming out of the draft with those 5 positions addressed and depth any and everywhere else. Everything depends on who falls to us each round and if Snead moves around.

I'm expecting David Edwards to be the LT, if Noteboom does not recover. Stenberg is legit. We need some size at Guard. If Noteboom does recover, both will fight for the LT position. The other will be the Swing Tackle.

I believe you are thinking Jonah Jackson of Ohio State. He is too small for us, being 306LBs. We have Ausin Blythe. Two small guys playing Guard(or Tackle) and Center is not going to work with us. Especially when we play against bigger defenses.

With Cooks gone, and Kupp and Reynolds in the final year of their contracts, and I’ll be shocked if we don’t use one of our 4 day 2 picks on a WR.

It seems as safe as betting on the sun to come up. Who wouldn't want 4 years of control on an excellent young WR? But the Rams need that.
