Transition tag for CBs was $11M so I'd pass on that option as well.I'd try to get both locked up, but not at a price that would prevent getting a real LT or WR on this team. by RamsFanSince82 9 years 6 months ago Total posts: 5851 Joined: Aug 20 2015 So. Janoris seems like the more skilled player, but Johnson has the longer NFL shelf life. I've always felt Johnson could be a good safety. He reminds me of LA Ram great Johnnie Johnson. If Trumaine can remain a Ram through the next contract he could transition to safety really well and extend his career. I'd pay Tru, give Janoris a fair offer, but not cry if 21 took off to chase the money. I don't know if the allure of our team is going to entice these guys to take a pay cut. With the staff under heat, and a possible relocation, some may feel it's time to move on. LA would create some incentives but I believe Snead has his hands full this off season with all our FA's and holes at key positions. We may have seen the last of guys like Long.... GO RAMS !!!
