Howard over Kiser? POST #4 Two very different players. Howard is a converted safety who plays at about 220. Kiser is a stout run defense specialist at 6'0, 244. I think Kiser will likely be the guy on the field on "running downs" most often. On passing downs, I think its more likely that we'll see Taylor Rapp in a hybrid role, rather than Howard. by snackdaddy 5 years 3 months ago Total posts: 9842 Joined: May 30 2015 Merced California Hall of Fame Re: Potential surprise (speculation).. Howard over Kiser? POST #5 Might be derailing this thread, but what is up with Obo Okoronkwo? I've seen nothing about him. All kinds of LB options have been named. He's never part of that. Last year people had hopes he could solve our OLB edge rusher problem. I'm wondering if he's even gonna make the team. by 69RamFan 5 years 3 months ago Total posts: 3368 Joined: Oct 15 2016 LA CA by way of NY/NJ Superstar Potential surprise (speculation).. Howard over Kiser? POST #6 My understanding from what I've heard, Kiser will be the Mike while Littleton will be the Weakside Lber for coverage..... on Running downs... On Passing down, we can always put in Matthews at ILB playing the Mike too...Plus we will have Allen waiting in the wings learning from the bench.... but not sure if he will be a ILB or OLB.... kind of small for a OLB at 232lbs.... Good weight for ILB.... Dick84: As far as Howard, I wasn't paying much attention to the Defensive side of the ball while I was at camp.... where did you hear he was playing with the ones?
