I can actually confirm this, at least for my section. When I was in during the end of wave 3, there were 10 rows in my section that were all red or "sold out." A friend of mine was just in during wave 5 and showed me a screenshot of my section and only 5 of those 10 aforementioned rows were red. So, not all red seats are truly "sold out." I would've been more upset if I preferred seats in one of those 10 rows, but they were toward the top of the section. It could be they are holding back a small number of seats for upcoming waves to give more people an opportunity to get season tickets.

That is interesting. 2L, 3H, 10L, 11H, 18L, 19H, 25L, 26H, or anything in the end zone no higher than seat 50 to 63 in the red section were the areas I expect something to be left, I hope.

It's going to be the same way when Inglewood stadium comes around. The rich folks will get priority, while the ticketmaster and stub hubs of the world will clog the network lines to make a buck and the true fans will get sh!t seats or have to pay 2nd/3rd hand to get decent seats.

Re rich folks/businessess-- we had a discussion on this way way back in April or thereabouts and we had plenty of anecdotal or actual evidence that seats were sold out the back door to "friends" of the Rams. So yeah, it happened and always will, unfortunately. My family personally know of two people who could buy in March, and they know of others. These are law firms, accounting firms, investment dudes, etc whose firms have connections and were allowed to buy gold seats early but at a premium price, by the way.

Re holding back seats, when I was back into the system last week and posted some screenshots, you could see an otherwise fairly empty section (upper 25L / 26H, f'r) had seats available throughout the middle, but then suddenly up at the top was a "sold out" section with straight line borders like a purposely selected square of 100 seats or so. No other explanation for those straight lines other than they were being held back...

Yeah, really more than 5 waves because of the presale. Magic Johnson... who I loved as a Laker, but gimme a break that he was a big Ram fan. Everyone is coming out of the woodwork.

People were saying here that the gold were all sold out when they got in to buy. That's around 3500 seats if you don't include the first few rows.

Bottom line though is that they're saying "57,000 sold". That can't include reserved seats. Maybe they'll free up some nice ones for me from GA60 hehe.

Also, based on the reports here of no real sales in the upper half of the closed end that would make up about 15,000 available seats.

I also noticed complete rows in the upper tiers that were "unavailable" - I just assumed those would be available when the individual game tickets go on sale. I also wonder if the Rams held back any decent seats for individual game purchase rather than just the very upper rows in the corners or end zone. I suppose we will find out soon enough.

The Rams have to set aside tickets, usually at the very top of the visitors side, for the visiting teams family and friends. I've worked with NFL players for many years and even attending a game for a visiting team that's where they usually stick you

I'm glad to see that most everyone got their tickets...its been crazy and I'm sure very nerve racking.

Anyhow please make sure you add the RFU badge to my profile.

I actually was in Wave 0 and have 4 seats in the Gold Section in 8h.

I just happen to know a former player that I'm not going to name but I was really lucky to get in early, thanks to this person. I was set up with a dedicated Rams rep to work with which was cool. When I got in which was before the draft a lot of the gold section was taken but I got lucky with really good seats.

I'm not a celebrity but interesting enough I'm a premier seat holder at staples center and even those guys with suites/VIP seats and so forth couldn't even get into a wave 0 for the Rams. It's a tough ticket to get.

I'm an NFL fan and a new die hard fan for the Rams! I was waiting for LA to get a team so for years I wasn't jumping on any bandwagon...It seems like there's a lot of good people on here and I can't wait to start tailgating with the RFU family!!!

Go Rams!!!

Congrats Rams1322! Sometimes it's just who you know. It's definitely exciting to have NFL football and the Rams back in Los Angeles.

Keep an eye out for updates on tailgates in the tailgating thread.

The list has been updated to include you and the season ticket holder badge has been added to your profile. :D

I think that all of us that were able to get season tickets are very fortunate. There will be over 30,000 people that put down deposits that won't be able to get season tickets. And the Rams are not even on the radar yet for the general population.

Congrats Rams1322. You have to be a real insider to get a RFU badge.

Did the wave 0 people have to pay anything extra?
