For sure. No panic yet. But these are games a loaded team like ours should be winning regardless of the injuries. Especially when the starting pitching (our weakness) is doing well. If we were losing series to the Astros or Indians or Boston I would understand it. But its the damn Orioles and Tigers.

Boyd is an OK pitcher we made him look like Clayton Kershaw. Zimmerman absolutely owned us.

Even if you say the replacement players aren't as good I would point you to the "stars" and how they've played. Yesterday the "regulars" went 1-13 or something like that.

To @dieterbrock point about approach. Judge came out and said after game 3 that we are not doing what we had planned to do which is not to swing at those damn pitches outside the zone. I even commended Judge and Stanton after game 1 for not doing it. Then all of sudden players decide well fcuk that. That's concerning.

Every game has the same value. Last season we couldn't compete for the pennant because we gave away mutilple games against ass teams like the Rays.

Last point, Boone's (or the analytic dept's) lineup yesterday. WTF. It's like they pre-determined that they were going to give away this game. Sanchez hits 2 homer runs in previous games and he's benched. Bird plays against the lefty but rests against the righty? What?

Then Judge says we have to playing like our backs are against the wall. That points to the lack of urgency on intent he is seeing from players inside the clubhouse.

1st inning at Camden yards. Pax gets rocked. HR from the lead off hitter. Then loads the bases. Balk called to drive in one run. Pitch in the dirt get past Gary and another run scores.

Paxton looks completely shook out there. Tarpley warming up.

Pax regained control. pitching well now.

Judge gets a 3-1 pitch almost in the dirt and they call it a strike. So of course the next pitch is even lower and he swings at it. He K’s too much, I know, but still the strike zone he has to work with is so unfair.

Sanchino with #3. That's a good sign. Judge will be fine, especially if Gary forces Boone to move him up in the lineup.

I'd love to see:

Gardner/Hicks
Judge
Sanchez
Stanton
Didi
Voit
Bird
Andujar/LeMahieu
Torres

The good news is the Yanks are now at .500. Thanks Clint!

The great news is the Red Sox are 2-8. Something it ( 8 losses) took them until May 1st last year to do.

It's only a 3 game series vs the Orioles but...…

29 runs
38 hits
7 doubles
14 homers
.339 average
.768 slug%
.417 OB%
1.185 OPS

Starting pitching wasn't great (3.45; 17 K in 15.2 IP; 1.38 Whip); relief was a little better (2.38; 10 K in 11.1 IP; 1.08 whip). But when they're hitting like that......

Unreal. This bullshit is too much.

There was stat out there that he has most strikes called against him on pitches outside the zone than any other player and the second place wasn't even close.

It's pathetic. I understand that the simple minded umpires didn't know what the hell to do when he came up as a rookie. But its been a while now. Call that shit a ball.

I want Gleybar to hit leadoff. It's time.
