this has been a fun 1st quarter watch so far, booth guys drooling over jg as the niners take a 10-0 lead, "jg absolutely perfect on that drive!", with nary a mention that the rams are playing scrubs... altho at this rate the niners will pull jg and a lot of their starters too before long, and the storyline will be niners whip rams with their backups, ha ha...

Watching Austin get playing time and positive offensive opportunities reinforces the obvious...he will be cut next year. A chance to extend a series and he fails to catch what would have been a 20 yard gain. Mannion also has a release that takes a but too long, but watching Austin over guys like Kupp, Woods and Watkins makes this offense look a Fisher/Boras offense.
