Its kind of funny, before the extension announcement, I was certain he'd be back. (Does not mean I want him back, I do not)
The "announcement" was made and it was a bit of a gut punch, however in light of how it came out and now all the subterfuge being played out, I am more than convinced he wont be back.
Of course, they win their last 4 and its anyone's guess.

the notion that the next 4 games can tip the scales one way or the other is such a joke to me, it's comical, i mean so what if fish runs the table, that would be as much as an indictment as losing the the next 4, what, the guy had a team capable of winning 4 in a row but couldn't do it until his job was threatened, wtf is that? plus, the next 4 games represent just 5% of the total games he'll have coached for the rams, but we're supposed to believe that 5% is the true litmus test, the true barometer of what he's capable of going forward, while throwing the other 95% out the window? c'mon....

Great points.
I'm wondering when the Fisher backers will pull the Eli Manning card, show how they were a 5-4 team that turned over the keys to Manning and finished 1-6 but went 11-5 the next year

A lot of people got suckered into believing the extension and the supposed vote of confidence from Demoff meant Fisher was coming back.
