That is a pretty amazing haul after two larger drafts the last two years. We are going to have close to the youngest team in the NFL.

That’s a whole lot of safeties!

A couple of guys who I thought should have been cut, and some who were cut that I thought would make it. Happens every year-lol

I think it’s important to note that although cutting this number of players is obviously a huge move, the next few days will also be worth watching for PS guys, but more also tweaks to their final 53 via potential waiver wire claims.

They’ve done the heavy lifting but I’m anxious to see if any other transactions take place before Detroit.

Especially with the ability to have vets on the practice squad, but I expect most of the list will be guys the Rams just released.

The PS is usually almost entirely guys that were with the Rams in camp but we'll see.

And yes, the 53 and PS will change over time, and soon...

"They’ll soon acquire a roster spot for the first two weeks of the season, when quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is placed on the suspended list, for a violation of the PED policy."--Florio. I didn't know you 'acquire' a roster a spot for a suspended player. Do we actually get 2 because of Alaric, also?

Right. But the wording makes it sound like... You 'acquire' 2 open spots once the suspension starts. So does that mean there are 2 players that are currently in limbo. And we can only announce they are on the 53 once the suspension starts?
