We need a good TOP and chunk plays. We've got 21 - 20 yd plays and have allowed 15. Indy had 7 of them. But we had 8. We had 6 against Seattle and Cincinnati, allowing just 3 combined. The game we had only 1, vs SF (who had 5), we still won the TOP with 33:11. So that alone won't cut it. We have to control the ball AND get chunk plays. And hopefully prevent them.

Our defense hasn't allowed 250 yards passing yet. In fact, only once over 206. Philly is averaging 226. We did have 2 bad games vs. the run though. 159 vs SF and 133 last week. So really only 1 bad game. McCaffrey had 20 for 116 (5.8). Richardson ran for 56 of the 133, leaving RBs with 21 for 77 (3.6). Now we face a good RB (Swift) and a good running QB. But Hurts has carried 40 times for only 134 (3.3).

Our new oline looks pretty good in pass pro. Are they good road graders in the run game? I haven't seen a big push.

I think the chunk plays will be there. Philly plays a lot of off coverage and zone - not a sticky man coverage team. It’s all about time - clean pocket and get Staff on the move. The quick game behind their aggressive front and in front of their off coverage should also be there from time to time.

MCV is gonna have to call a great game.

No sense of dynamic play calling from Mcvay it’s predictable his offense is so predictable. Teams know how to play him.

Stafford holds the ball way too long. And he gets sacked. The line is a problem.

But Stafford lost the game. They That tutu touchdown. Missed Puka and in the 2nd half he just wasn’t effective. Kyren missed a blitz pickup.

Not ready for prime time. Boarderline of making and not making the playoffs.

Durant was terrible in open field missing tackle after tackle on hurts. Taleeeeeeee of two halves.

As I said in the chat, it is going to take a few years to get back.

In alphabetical order, this team desperately needs

1. Center. Neither Brian Allen, nor Cameron Shelton, would be a starter, on another NFL roster.
2. Cornerback, to work opposite of Witherspoon
3. Edge. Hoecht should be on the DLine, as a 3/4 DE
4. Left Tackle. They can’t stay healthy there.
5. Safety. Not really talented there.
6. QB. Someone to replace Stafford, when he retires.

We don’t have them, right now.

If we can get those, then we may able to get back to the Super Bowl, in 3 to 4 years.

On the plus side, I was selected to hold the US tag during the national anthem. Was a life time experience for sure. So there’s that.
