It was a NFL network report.

Here are a couple of things stay with me.

This is Patrick Mahomes all over again. Aging Quarterback Carson Palmer. They wanted Patrick Mahomes.

They didn’t have enough capital. Kansas City snagged him.

I can only tell you what my eyes see. Anthony Richardson has that Patrick Mahomes potential. Super talented. Huge upside.

Something tells me Mcvay is over the moon with this guy. He can sit for two seasons and learn the offense from Stafford.

The capital we are probably gonna offer the 1st round pick whatever we get for Ramsey our 2nd round pick maybe 3rd to move up and get this guy in the top 10. Could it be Detroit at 4? or another team? All I know is we like this guy. And he ran pretty good at the combine.

He’s 6-4 244 ideal size.

This is a Quarterback league. And we don’t have one after Stafford. Maybe they think this guy is better then Caleb Williams.

I know he’s raw. He’s raw as fuck. But I have to think with Mcvay he can make this guy a perennial first team all pro. Especially learning from Stafford. Like Mahomes did with Alex Smith.

We have a great play caller like Andy Reid with Mahomes. Mcvay sees something. He sees something he can unlock. This has always been the plan.

Ramsey will fetch the best draft capital we can get.

Or is it to Move up and get Nolan Smith who ran a 4.3 at the combine. He’s really sound bright in the interview process. Looks like another Von Miller to me. Maybe that’s the edge rusher help we were talking about. I think maybe some people see him better as a better draft prospect then Jalen Carter.

Detroit has the 6th pick, which was original ours. If we get the 6th pic, I want Paris Johnson, due to he reminds me a lot of the last Ohio State OT, we drafted decades ago in round 1, in Orlando Pace. I'd prefer to get a first round pick next year.

All I saw was the Rams are looking for a first round pick in 2023, but that's pretty much it. I believe Ramsey is worth more than one first round pick.

If its accurate then at least it's a reference point.

To play in Morris's defensive soft shell zoneout, you have to have really solid athletes at corner. Ramsey is one. He makes and affects a lot of plays.

I'm not so sure RM's soft zone is going improve with weaker cornerback play.
In the NFLs passing league, corners are a top tier position. The Rams should demand adequate comp or just live up to the deal they signed.

It would be great if everybody would take restructured chunk bonuses for the best of the team but.....

I hope I am wrong but...

I think there is still a broad aversion to doing deals with Snead, the Rams have had so much success with trades lately that GM's are sensitive to the optic of: If you do a deal with Snead, he probably ate your lunch.

I will be pleasantly surprised if they get a 1 for Ramsey.

The more I think about it, the more I think a Ramsey trade lands a couple non firsts this year, a 2 and 5 or a 3 and 4, and a 1 next year - giving the Rams 2 first round picks in ‘24.
