Notice how the O-line seemed to to get it together once Boom went down and Stafford had a chat with the line.

Bruss, Allen, Shelton, Anchrum, Edwards, Noteboom, that's an insane amount of loss to one unit...

Not only an insane amount or loss but, a real testament to the curating of depth. Granted, they clearly aren’t starters. But they will have to find a way.

I like A Jax better than Boom at LT. Finding real answers at guard is critical now. Beyond critical.

6 games into the 2022 season and we've already had 9 different O lineman start games equaling all of 2019. Also we have the same record after 6 games. Though we haven't yet traded for an O lineman like we did in 2019 (Corbett), that's certainly a possibility. One guy has emerged as a future starter (Jackson) just like 2019 (Edwards). So, all things being equal, you'd think.....with a better QB and a more experienced head coach, we might not miss the playoffs like we did in 2019. At the same point in 2019, San Francisco was 6-0 while Seattle was 5-1. This year, they're tied with the Rams. So is making the postseason as futile as it seemed before we beat Carolina and SF lost to Atlanta or does it seem like there's a chance?

Yeah - it's one thing to say your team is flawed because of lack of depth - it's another thing when the list is this long ..

Or would that list be shorter if we had had more talent up front in the 1st place?

I'll be dumb and bite. What are you suggesting.. that if the Rams had more talent to begin with they wouldn't have had so many injuries?

I guess what I am getting at is, I'm pretty unsympathetic to fans of any team that say 'well we only lost because injuries' when they lose 1-2 guys. That is what 49er fans do, and I reject it. For us, that list on OL is pretty darn long though ..
