Does anyone think these guys are drunks. NO. Some funny stuff.

Now the girl falling is a bummer. Hope she is alright. The lack of a railing on a platform over 18" is not only risky but not to any code. Could possibly leave somebody (event promoter) open to legal action.

That was a heck of an about face by Stafford. Pretty sure he saw her dissappear but it looked like the director had the player crowd heading out. His level of sobriety was questionable but he just doesn't seem like a guy who wouldn't care

You kinda nailed what I thought - how does the event planner not have some kind of railing on a stage that high with that many people on it? Holy wow, that was an accident just waiting to happen.

Stafford would not have understood what happened at that moment.

He probably didn't even realize how high the stage was.

Paying her bills is nice and all, but it has the smell of something being off. PR type thing.

It's terrible the photographer is injured and fell. I hope she recovers from her fall.

Not sure what besides show some concern for the woman Stafford could really do. For that, perhaps he deserves a modicum of scorn. However, I would imagine if she did fracture her back, alerting the EMTs/paramedics) of the fall would be the first thing. The intoxication thing well, that's a factor for sure. Hope she's alright

It was a bad look but, he didn’t cause her to fall, and his reaction was probably related to his level of intoxication. They’ve stepped up financially, so that should be the end of it. It’s a lesson for Stafford, though, that now that he’s on the top of the mountain, all eyes are on him and many will be eager to knock him down.

Yeah you nailed it yet once again.

His wife was on it and he would not have been able to deal with it properly.

He was obviously intoxicated. Any decision he made at that point was not going to end well.

We can't always have OHSA regs to protect us. Sometimes situational awareness has to take precedence.

If I am am standing on a edge I know it. Maybe she did too and accepted the risk.

Looked like a big fall. Hope she recovers fast at 100%. I really hope this doesn't take over the moment.

Important Safety Tip: Be careful on party buses. About six years ago there was a party bus cruising around Lawrence before a KU football game. A guy standing up in one of the compartments on the back of the bus was decapitated when the bus went under an overpass. No matter how many OSHA regulations there are having "Situational awareness" as SWA mentioned is very helpful if you want to lead a healthy life.

Elvis wrote:Flash, you never told us how the parade was...

Hey E! It was very cool. Lots of street vendors selling "black market" gear and a few real NFL approved spots.

We went straight to the rally (not the parade) the parade did pass us on our left. I think the players got more energy once they entered into the rally as it was very crowded.

The speeches were great plenty of swearing! The crowd for the most part were great lots of high fives etc...

Whitworth speech about Kupp was amazing. AD and McVay a little toasted but very fun.

Hope to do it again next year!
