I agree Matt Stafford is bigger, stronger and more athletic than Goff. But to play devil's advocate here, he is also older. By the time he takes his first snap in a Ram's game, Stafford will be 33.6 years old! He also took quite a beating every year for many years in Detroit. If Matt Stafford is going to win a super bowl for us, he has, IMHO, maybe two years, three at most.

I dont know, is work ethic and IQ typically something that declines or changes over time? Must have had a good work ethic and ok football IQ when they extended him?!
Could he have put in more work and watched more film etc.? Im sure this is so. Maybe he put his efforts into the wrong area? Just seems like kicking a dog when he's down
You sure dont want to report statements like these unless theyre true!
Ive been a Goff supporter and have been very disappointed in his play these past 2 years. Really thought he was going to have a good year!
I was watching a video of his best plays and you see the deep passes, anticipation and progressions! It just seems like such a big turn around..
Hoping this works out for both sides!

Stafford does appear more athletic. But I'll bet if they both got into a foot race it would be very close. Stafford is more decisive when he uses his legs. Goff seems a little tentative. As far as the age factor, its hard to say. Some QB's start declining in their mid 30's. Others their late 30's. We'll have to wait and see on that.

agree across the board....

in the end it seems that it just boilied down to mcvay's offense no longer working, no longer producing points, whether in 11-personnel or when it shifted to 12 in 2019/2020, and goff was deemed to be the reason.
