They could've got this right by going about it in a different way. Just poll the fans on the official site, twitter, etc by showing some prototypes and let the "fans" choose. Majority wins! After all, the fans are the ones who will be spending money to buy the new gear...why not ask them by showing examples?

Fuck that "focus group" bullshit! "Yeah, let's get the opinions of 30 people or so then pretend they represent the hundreds of thousands of fans out there!" Just makes no sense to me. They polled us on if we wanted White or Blue facemasks but figure the uni's/logo they can figure out on their own? How'd that work out in 2000???

I have to say...

I like a good trolling as much as the next guy, and I've been amused by Demoff's previous shenanigans, but if this turns out to be a mere hoax, I'm going to be a bit pissed.

Of course, I'll be more pissed if it is the logo and ESPECIALLY if that's the horn we're going to see on the helmet.

Come on Rams... do the right thing. My sports wardrobe budget is finite and, right now, you're running the risk of it all going for Miami Heat gear.

Anyone who thinks this isn't important needs their head checked. This shit is VERY IMPORTANT.

Any team with an animal namesake should have said animal as part of their logo. Ok, Colts get a pass but listen...if you have a cool animal namesake, you really should try to incorporate that animal into a boss logo. Remember in the 1980s the RAMS dropped their classic rams skull logo and went with an "LA Rams" text logo. This later changed to another text logo with an arch added when the team moved to St. Louis. The only other team stupid enough at the time to exclude their animal mark was the Bengals. Sure they had the stripes on the helmet but they were without any type of tiger design in their brand. They changed that and came up with a couple of cool logos, not for the helmet but for their logo marks. The RAMS, finally, after all those years, came up with the current rams head logo in 2000. This is a great logo and I would have no problem with them keeping it. I have it all over the house. It's a boss logo. It's a simple, bold graphic and it works. But they say changes are coming and if they are dropping the current logo I can only hope they can come up with something similar but God, please, don't go back to another friggin text logo!! We are the RAMS!! Design another cool RAMS head and incorporate the silly "LA" in it if you have to but we have a cool animal namesake and that animal has really cool, curved horns. USE IT!!

And the horn on the "new logo" like the current helmet is still too damn thin!!

Should the Rams go with stupid looking helmets and uniforms to match the stupid looking logo at the top of this thread I might just cancel my cataract surgery scheduled for the last third of July (right eye) and first third of August (left eye).
