Even if St. Louis loses the trial or an appeal, we still win because the owners finances will be public. And maybe the NFL won’t be so quick to extort taxpayer money for more stadiums.

It sure doesn't seem like any community will ever vote for a tax funded stadium anywhere ever again anyway. With SoFi being the new bar, the cost would be prohibitive. Team owners should have to do the financing with the help of the league and I see that being the trend. There could be some community (like Vegas) that would want a team that bad but I can't think of one.
The NFL owners really shouldn't have to disclose any financials period. What difference does it really make? That's their business so StL or any other communities have no business having access to them unless a criminal act had been perpetrated. So far that doesn't seem to be the case even if StL somehow thinks so.

Since Green Bay is owned by the public and must publish financial reports annually, we already know about how much money an NFL team rakes in.

St. Louis did not fulfill the terms of their lease and believe that apparently capitalism is illegal in Missouri since they believe that the Rams should not be permitted to relocate once free of their lease.

It looks like the city of Chicago is doing just that with the Bears moving out to the burbs. Financially the city is probably better off.

Long interesting article: but the dude needs a geography lesson.

As the meetings transpired, the room shifted. Jerry Jones, with his unabashed gusto and charm, became the advocate for reclusive Rams’ owner Stan Kroenke, who had 1) a net worth over $11 billion, and 2) prime real estate in downtown L.A.

Jones sold a vision for “NFL West”—in downtown L.A., not suburban Carson—hosting not only NFL games but NFL offices, NFL Network, the draft, the combine, the Olympics and multiple other big events.

Thanks for posting StLoser...

The reason the StL lawyers are beating the NFL lawyers at this point seems to stem from homer rulings by homer judges.
NFL guidelines are NOT laws of the land so there is no criminal wrong doing. Go after the NFL in a civil suit but nothing "illegal" has occurred.

The crooked St. Louis judge laid down the law hard by fining the non-compliant owners $5000 to $8000 each for not turning over their financial records. He's really putting the screws in to them hard.

Stan (and Jerry Richardson) are in compliance since they have submitted the required financial disclosures.

And what again does the net worth of Jones, Hunt, Kraft, and Mara have anything to do with the Rams move back to LA?

It’s to determine damages? Have I missed something here, did the trial happen and already find against the NFL? Shouldn’t these demands occur AFTER a trial? Or has the judge predetermined that St. Louis has already won?

This is a disgrace. But I expect nothing less from the state of Missouri that gives banana republics a bad name
