They could be blowing smoke if they claim that you're guaranteed tickets. You most likely get thrown into a drawing. Check the agreement and see what it says exactly about just the Super Bowl. I could understand a guarantee for tickets for motorcross, Taylor Swift concerts etc. But on Super Bowl Sunday the stadium is "owned" by the NFL and few tickets go to the host team. Plus they're almost always crap upper deck seats.

My uncle is a 30 year season ticket holder for the Vikings and he didn't get Super Bowl tickets. He was not happy.

The computerized drawing will be done by a third party with several thousand tickets available for purchase at face value (most of them around $950 apiece) in the upper deck of U.S. Bank Stadium. The number of chances each season ticket member receives in the drawing is based on the number of consecutive years that member account has held season tickets multiplied by his/her current number of seats. For example, if a season ticket member has held season tickets for five years and currently has four season tickets, he/she will receive 20 chances in the drawing.

Like I said before, I knew a St. Louis Rams season ticket holder who had 40 yard line seats like 15 rows from the field AND his company had some signage in the TWA/Ed Jones Dome. He won a drawing for Super Bowl 34 and was basically way up in the rafters of the Georgia Dome.

Maybe the LA Rams have some sort of special agreement with the NFL that exempts them?

There are 500 seats that are guaranteed Super Bowl tickets. Those seats are $100,000 each. Evidently Stranger has a couple of those seats. Nice! The rest of us will be in some sort of lottery for Super Bowl tickets.

I could see there being a small set like that.

I’m a season ticket holder for the Coliseum and I got dibs to buy super bowl tickets this past year. I got a promo code via email for Ticketmaster last August.

It was a 4 ticket limit.

Right, but I have not read the fine print. I've sent off an email inquiry, and asked for specific language around this office.

What I'm wondering is if seats are guaranteed, but not my seats. Hmmm.

Stranger you will know soon enough but if it truely is 500 seats that paid 100K for SSL and you are part of that group I read the fine print just as you say guaranteed. On the web there are articles that break down host team, visiting, Home, all nfl players etc on ticket allocations. My memory says it’s something like 5% for the host which at 70k seats is 3500 tickets for the host to give to vendors (guaranteeed) etc.

As a STH for the Cardinals during our last 2 SB hosting gigs it was exactly as ST Louis’s fan recalls we went into a lottery and are lucky to be chosen. All our club seat holders had guaranteed SB tickets. Though I’m pretty sure they were upper level.

Lastly the next highest level of SSL I read as 1st priority which to me means it will never happen that all the available tickets are not snatched up before the 1st wave. Anyone below that level will be lottery bound for tickets. My 2 cents let us know what you hear.
