It's fairly simple.

As long as we agree grabbing a woman's breast, ass or crotch is considered wrong. Grabbing your own ass or crotch, is wrong as well. Talking about sexual acts or insinuating your preference or asking for her preference are wrong. Telling off color jokes in mixed company is wrong, there shouldn't be much confusion.

There's a good rule to follow when interacting with the opposite sex in the work place. If you're a man, behave in a manner and speak to women in language you would use with your mother or daughter. If you're a woman, behave in a manner and speak to men in language you would use with your father or son.

Simple.

Attraction to the opposite sex? Sure. It's normal. But there's a normal way to go about it.

Every time I try and respond I have to erase what I write.
I worked in corporate management for 15 years and never a minute went by that I didnt have to be on my guard about about the perception of my actions/words. I've seen men's careers destroyed by zero tolerance policies being enforced on stupidity. So I have no compassion for these folks who are so engulfed in their narcissism that they feel they have complete impunity to do whatever they want

At my old job (that I left for other reasons) one time they fired like 6 male compatriots at my same level for harassment. Their "What do I do wrong?" or "I should have been clearly been told pulling my penis out was wrong." attitudes just left me amazed.

This harassment of females in the workplace is a bad & terrible thing of course...
...and it is also emotionally charged.

Alot of smart guys here at RFU have written their deeply held thoughts here in this thread......but through gritted teeth with guts churning...heck, my molars are sore right now!

Seriously, I feel that we are all products of our experiences. Our thoughts on this distasteful subject of workplace sexual harassment have been affected by our experiences. Those of us with adult daughters out in the workplace....well IMO we even have an extra layer of angst on this matter.

I respect all the views posted here by my RFU brethren.....100%
...but going forward, I am going to avoid this thread.....I just don't see any upside.

What I was saying is these types of things don't change fast. And that some will learn to hide it better.

Well to be fair I didn't say you said it was natural to harass women AT WORK...I did take it as you saying that civilized behavior is fairly slow at reaching everyone.

So probably you weren't saying it's natural for men to just act out on sexual impulses. I probably pushed your comment down that slippery slope.

Still it was just a chance for me to say that harassment of any kind anywhere is not a natural or inevitable thing. So maybe that's just me springboarding off into what I wanted to say about all this.

A former colleague of mine, father with 2 young kids, was following protocol in terminating a female employee for excessive abscences. He had his assistant mgr in the office with him during the discussion. Asst mgr abruptly left the office for a minute to answer her phone, and when she returned the employee claimed that the manager said she could keep her job if she had sex with him. He was terminated.

I have issues with Kroenke myself. It's not trolling. It's just a position you happen to disagree with. Frankly to label an opinion contrary to your own "trolling" probably IS trolling.

Any Rams message board is big enough to allow/tolerate/encourage different views on stuff, including the owner.

That includes bashing. Ownership, management, coaches, players...they're all fair game, to like or dislike at will.
