There are 4 teams we have no business thinking we can win. 4 teams who are beatable. But odds are we only win half of those. Which gives us 5 wins. Last year that was good enough for the 5th spot. This year they are currently sitting at the 6th spot. There are some possible impact type guys in the top ten. If it really is all about offense do they go left tackle? What about a guy like Brock Bowers? He's definitely got the tools to be a top playmaking tight end. And its a position that will need to be addressed sooner than later. So do you take a McCarthy or Penix ( he concerns me because he's already had 2 knee inuries) or trade down and let somebody else take Penix? Load up with 3 or 4 difference makers with the extra 2nd or 3rd round pick....and we could have another 3rd if somebody hires Morris. So many possiblities.....too early to know....but certainly not too early to speculate. In McSnead I trust. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. Why would you sign Carson Wentz???????? A guy who’s gonna barely get you there to the playoffs and not have you win? Gonna when you games you shouldn’t win and fuck up your draft position. Real smart. If you’re not playing Stafford play Rypien and get your tank commander. The meaningless win is really gonna mean a lot when Caleb Williams is lighting you up for the Cardinals. Or Marvin Harrison Jr. is catching balls over your DBs. 1 by ramman2999 1 year 2 weeks ago Total posts: 661 Joined: Nov 23 2022 LA Coliseum Veteran Week 9: Rams @ Green Bay POST #67 We’re gonna beat the Cardinals. I doubt someone like Marvin Harrison Jr. will be available. Plus, Stafford has a tendency to lock in on Kupp or Puka. Not sure we can trust him to develop the same rapport with another receiver. Part of me wants a top tier playmaker. But another part of me says it won't do any good if they don't address the offensive line problems. So many possibilities. And we know Trader Les is licking his chops at the possibilities that will presented to him. If we suck bad enough to be in the top 8, you can be sure without a trade up, Caleb, Harrison, Alt (or the PSU LT) and Maye will be gone. And probably the #1 Edge and #1 CB.
