Good for the Rams but poor Anchrum, he went from starting RG to 3rd string in record time and didn't really do anything wrong...

Nice we get Olsen. Funny living in Nocal, I have gotten every Ram game so far this season on local TV. It helps when the Niners are playing opposite the Rams or I wouldnt be getting to see them without Sunday Ticket

My specialty is paying attention to the OL,

So from what I'm seeing,

I think you need some better prescription glasses.

And please don't go quoting PFF,

cause I will guarantee, if AJ is ready to come off his injury,

He'll move back to LT and Noteboom will be back at RG.

I'm not taking anything away from Dotson.

Its just that Noteboom knows the playbook a lot better.

And is doing a good job.

The only game the OL didn't do so good was against Cinny,

and that was because of Thomas & Anchrum,

due to injuries from AJ & Noteboom,

But Noteboom came back and he covered his side.

1. Yes it s good sign that the line did well against the niners, but IMO the niners defense has underperformed under Wilks.

2. The eagles run defense could force us into more 2nd and 3rd and longs, hence more obvious passing downs which can lead to pass protection problems.

I don't think they can be balanced with the run and pass in this game. I would think throwing some high percentage type passes on first down might soften the run defense. If they can get 4 or 5 yards on the first downs consistently they can avoid the 3rd and long situations.

I agree with Martz on needing 6 and 7 man protections. Less receivers in the route windows but guys like Kupp and Puka are very good at finding the holes in the secondary. Not to mention how good Stafford is at throwing through tight windows. Especially when the protection holds up.

If the Rams are gonna win this one they need to at least score in the upper 20's. I don't think they can if its lower 20's.

Why 6-7 man protections when Philly thinks they can get home with 4? Their secondary has sucked this year. They want to flood zones with 7 defenders and rush with 4. 5-man and a back better get it done in pass pro. Gonna be hard to beat a 7 man coverage concept with 3 receivers.

I do agree the Rams are gonna throw or try to throw more and hopefully get a lead then run the ball some.
