That’s what I’m saying. If you’re tearing it down how are all those guys coming back? Aaron Donald’s not cool with it.

Mcvay came back Aaron Donald came back. Staffords not retiring. Why would you trade Ramsey?

That team is Stafford Kupp Donald and Ramsey.

I don’t care what anyone says those are the faces of that championship team.

Also Ramsey loves L.A. this is where he wants to be. Nobu Malibu. I’m pretty sure he has a place or is looking to buy a place by Stafford.

Stafford just bought or is building a huge house in Hidden Hills.

Donald is over there. They all live by each other.

They arent tearing it down, It sounds to me like Ramsey wants another contract and the Rams are reviewing their options of what they could get in a trade vs re-upping Ramsey.

You are right as long as Staff, AD and Kupp etc we arent tearing it down yet.

100%. I think thats what's going on too. Ramsey may want a pay raise and might deserve it, but it's the wrong time.
I hope they keep him and this core of stars another year or 2. Ramsey is a stud tackler. He brings credibility to our secondary.
In the meantime draft good, make a few trades or acquire value FA's and keep this train on the rails.

I agree. Great take. At this point I think it’s important to keep Ramsey. He’s in the prime of his career 28?

We gave up a lot to get him. And in this new passing league with the Quarterbacks. You need good DBs. You need lockdown DBs.

Let me let you marinate on recievers in our division and tight ends.
D.K. Metcalf
Deandre Hopkins
Tyler Lockett
George Kittle
Debo Samuel
Brandon Aiuk

Other divisions
Justin Jefferson
CEDe Lamb

We need these guys in our coverage packages.

Ramsey recently saved the day vs Detroit and vs ATL in the closing minutes to save the day. W/O him we likely lose. Other games, big plays too. Open field tackles against Dweebo and CMC, others.. He make QBs think twice about throwing his way. Shrinks the field.

Naw we'll just let that go...

IF a team goes after him it wouldn't surprise me at all if it's the Lions. They are totally weak at both corner spots and have their own #1 pick sitting in the late teens. Brad Holmes knows Jalen from being here and I can see them wanting a true, all-pro vet on their young D.
Not sayin' they should or would, BUT..............

Valid points but it has to be considered in the bigger context of what they can get for him, what their longer-term needs are. To wit .. how meaningful is it, really, that he saved the win for the Rams against Atlanta, in a 5-12 season? (The Rams never should have been in a position to almost lose that game ...)

Ramsey has his brain farts but I much rather have him than not. Having said that, if they had their eyes set on a first round prospect (at any position) and believed trading Ramsey was their only way to grab him, they should pull the trigger. Rosters are fluid year to year and one position here could easily make up for another position there.

Similar situation years ago with Torry Holt. A team offered us more than a first, I think, as he was just about to leave his prime. We turned it down and about two years later he was done and we got zippo. Sometimes we all remember what a stud a guy is, but if it's likely to be short lived, many times it's worth that risk. And , of course, we need to nail it on that pick too ;)
