There have been many discussions over the years about OL injuries and their effects. Rams are now playing their 3rd center in 4 games and their 5th OG. Stafford is not elevating a beat-up OL. He's hanging tough but there are throws where he's off because the hits have taken their toll. We know how good he is but there's only so much he can do in this situation. Still plenty of game left but this is not an ideal situation.

Not just the OL, but the lack of weapons…that combination is a killer. Remember McVay’s quote about not wanting to live in that world? Guess what…

This just in.......

SF defense is really good......
Allen Robinson is not what he was supposed to be........
Our RBs can't break tackles........
Kupp will not make it through the season if VJ isn't back soon and OBJ isn't signed to help them.......
McVay has got to realize, if we can't establish the run, it would be better to have Stafford kneel on first down than to call run plays and risk more injury for that 1 yard we gain...

Listen to the post game presser with McVay and it is the closest I have heard him call out a player without naming him. Said the INT pick 6 was deja vu moment from last year when Jimmie Ward had an INT. 49ers were in man coverage and that is not a spot where Stafford should have thrown. Said you have to check out of that play.

It all centers around the OL. The Bills game and now this game shows if you can't block your opponent the entire offense stalls out. Bottom line is while Snead was collecting worthless small sized WR and DB's he should have been on the lookout for some quality OL.

Unfortunately, my fears were realized. I don’t know how McVay fixes this without significant improvement in OL and WR. Maybe we’re a borderline playoff team, but this team is trending downward with their core players no longer young.

Shhh, don’t talk about the OL being a problem. Don’t you have faith in the organization? At least that’s what I’ve been told by the football gurus here.

Seriously, McVay is not squarely pointing the finger where it belongs. At himself for not recognizing last year that he needed to address the attrition in the OL for this year. I know I’ve been saying it ad nauseam since the draft last year, but the truth hurts.

Stafford is getting pummeled and McVay expects him to function effectively? Does he think we’re all stupid?

Have to question the front office and their evaluation of talent. Is Allen Robinson and upgrade over Bobby Trees? Did we need to make that FA investment?

When the FO and coaching staff knew Big Whit was retiring was it a good idea to let Austin Corbett walk in FA? Perhaps the money used on Wagner and Robinson could have been better spent on keeping Corbett or at least signing a veteran FA OL.

Are Alaric Jackson, Bobby Evans, Jerimiah Kolone NFL caliber OL?
