So what's Ramsnation's consensus?

1. They have the players they need to have a solid O line in 2023?

2. They need 1 new starter not on the roster to have a solid O line in 2023?

3. They need more than one new starter not on the roster to have a solid O line in 2023?

4. They need to keep Havenstein and Jackson, then find 3 more guys from outside the organization to have a solid O line in 2023?

5. They're fine the way they are but drafting a C would be a smart move?

6. They need ______________ (fill in the blank).

I'm in the #1, #5 group so long as Shelton deosn't become a free agent.

And I guess #6...... " they need to save some money by releasing Allen and drafting a C"

They need to recruit outside the organization and go get a,

pro bowl LT Vet or somewhat close to being a PB, and power LG Vet.

The rest of what we have can be filled in as a C and RG, RT/RHav and backups.

Worst case scenario, a pro bowl LT Vet or somewhat close to being a PB.

Then a battle for the LG, C, RG and backups within our organization.

I’m in the #1 or 2 group. I think they draft OL and sign some young vets coming off first contract or trade for young vets. Don’t see them going for an older vet and they don’t have the $ to sign for a Pro-bowl player. They like who they have. It’s the injuries within that group they need to evaluate. Now a trade for a pro-bowl type could happen. But that’s a long shot in my eyes.

They all seem like realistic possibilities to me. But i think some change is inevitable. Have the Rams fielded the same Oline 2 years in a row since McVay got here?

Injuries, free agency, roster turnover, cap considerations, change is the norm.

Looks like old man Taylor Lewan will be available:

Taylor Lewan has been shockingly ineffective the last couple years. Considering how good he once was.

As for the questionnaire, I'll check #2. I think one stud OG would make a huge difference in the whole line. And they are not that expensive. I'm willing to chance it with AJ at LT based on what I've seen.
