The new colors are a new, deeper, richer navy, a darker golder yellow, and white. The new Logo is a side view of a ram horn that abstractly looks like an LA.

The helmet is the new navy with a matte finish that features thicker horns in the new yellow with a shiny finish.

Home jerseys are navy with yellow numbers. Yellow horns line the collar and swoop around the shoulders.

Away jerseys are white with navy numbers, yellow sleeves and navy horns.

Alternates are yellow with navy numbers and navy horns.

There are three sets of pants, navy with a yellow stripe, yellow with a navy stripe, and white with a navy stripe. All can be worn interchangeably.

My favorite combos are definitely navy on navy and navy on yellow, and white on yellow, and yellow on yellow. I expect mixed reviews and a lot of people to say the look like Michigan, but I think it’s a solid, solid look for the team.

They are rams horns Hack. And that is a rendition IF those “horns make it onto the jersey, I think they will have much better detail. Perhaps that is where they might give them horn-like texture and realistic Ram (the animal) detailing.

My brain isn't interpreting "cape" when I see that but I'm certainly curious how they'll pull it off. I'm not opposed to horizontal stripes in principle but it's got to be done well. Another horizontal motif that comes to mind is Kurt's old team the Barnstormers:

If the design is anything close to that mock up, they will have to re-design again in 10 years when those inevitably look dated (just like the STL uniforms do now).

The STL uniforms are stuck in the early 2000s because they were designed specifically for the turn of the century. The logo, word mark, fonts, colors, etc are all locked in that time period. Like vest jerseys in baseball.

The best part about the Rams uniforms from the 50s-90s is that they could exist in any decade. Much like the Raiders, Packers, Cowboys, etc, those uniforms are clean, simple, and timeless.

Gimmicky uniforms that are designed to match a decade, stadium design, and current trends almost guarantees many more rebrands after this one.

I understand they need to engage the next generation and make a visual change to correspond with a new era in LA. But this is not the way to go.

So, I think I have a plausible over/under for when the uniforms/logo will be made public.

The early date is February 21, which is the Friday before the Combine starts. I could see the Rams wanting to have the launch in time to sport the new colors and use the new logo during Combine coverage.

The late date is April 22, the day before the draft. I would think the Rams would want the new stuff on display during draft weekend, and this would be a good way to get some media attention in advance of a Day 1 with no picks.
