And then after Brock left they went for an "younger" guy in Steve Bartkowski. He went 4-2 which some would consider "winning" thank god Robinson saw the writing on the wall and gave Everett the ball. Ya know, despite his lack of experience, or snaps and stuff....

One of the biggest things Robinson did was bring in Ernie Zampese to run the offense in 1987.

Fisher and Robinson are similar types of coaches. Let's hope if Fisher is here for a while, he too brings in a great OC who excels in the passing game to maximize what we have with Goff...

Yeah no doubt. Of course if Chris Miller didn't have his 19th concussion, we might have actually made the playoffs with Rich Brooks. Or in spite of, either way...

Go Rams!

I remember reading the box scores of the games he played in. He would throw for 300+ yards and they'd lose by 20. Good times

Thank God. I really wish the NFL would address the off season/pre-season format. I realize they are going big on injury prevention. But I think they should allow NFL teams a lot more time with rookies in the off season. The way teams are limiting/limited in contact in TC its become trivial to vets and much harder for rookies or fa's top come in learn a new offense and get the reps necessary to make the team or even evaluate. The TC hell weeks and two a days are long in the past. I think its not necessarily a good thing or achieving its primary goal of reducing injury exposure. I think players are going into game 1 more exposed to injury due to lack of contact and conditioning reps. Resulting in more early season injuries. The other side of the equation is more players are making it through a "soft camp" to game one. What I would do Is look at extending the spring mini-camp process considerably. Even have a limited winter camp. Let the rookies have full practice exposure. Put the vets in strength and conditioning mode with non-contact reps. Start training camp earlier. Play 2 pre-season games. And add two regular season games to make an 18 game regular season. With the extra revenue, let teams expand the 53-man roster to say 65 and TC roster accordingly.
