All the variables aside.......isn't it time we swept San Francisco??? It's been 5 years for god's sake. We have won 2 straight......let's start a nice run as a payback. This one will get McVay 30 games over .500 (including postseason).

This is the 150th regular season game between us. (69-77-3) Somebody needs to tell the defense, we've never shut them out.

Deebo has been relatively quiet lately, I'm worried our secondary will allow him to go off though.
Was the Bills game a fluke? Or has the offense found something?
Can someone please tell our DBs to get their goddamn heads turned around on some of these pass plays?
Football is whizzing right by their ear 3-4 times per game for big yards.
Also need to limit the explosive plays. Way too many given up.

Deebo is in the doghouse with both the team and the coaches. His big mouth and complaining when he is the reason for his decreased involvement. Deebo is a Me not We kind of guy. He refuses to accept his responsibility for his drop passes.

He won't be ignored completely, but IMO the biggest threats coming in are Jennings who has torched the Rams and Kittle. Kittle is a huge problem. He is by position he plays a TE but in reality as Colleen Wolfe rightly pointed out he's a WR and plays the position like one. He's fast and big with great hands. He's a mismatch normally defenses use a OLB or a safety to cover him and it's a mistake. If Shula is smart he will use a tall fast CB to cover him. This is where Forbes could enter the picture. I can see Shula matching up Witherspoon on Kittle and Forbes now being able to provide rotation with Durant who is hurting on the outside.

At this point, Witherspoon has the speed and size to stay with Kittle and it will be up to the front 6 to stop the run and provide pressure against Purdy. If that pressure gets home I can see Brock turning it over at least once. That could be the difference.

The Rams can't afford to take the Niners lightly. They will need their A game and McVay needs to put them away early and keep the pressure on them offensively for all 4 quarters. If they do the Rams win this game.

Is that even possible for a team who has fought to get over .500? They're going to take a team lightly who has beat them 9 of the last 12 times they've met? And those 3 wins came by a total of 7 points. Maybe because the niners have a bad record? McVay only needs to remind them that a niners team who finished 6-10 in 2020 swept them!!! The only other teams the niners beat that season were the Jets, Giants, Patriots and Cardinals, who finished a combined 23-41. Does anybody believe that's a possibility? Really? If they don't win this game, it won't be because they "took SF lightly".

They need to play a smart game. They need to contain Purdy, not rush him wildly like they did at times with Allen. They need to run the ball and stay committed to the run regardless of the yards per carry, just like they did vs Buffalo. They need to protect the ball, just like they did vs Buffalo. They need to play solid special teams, just like they did vs Buffalo. But most important, they need to have the same level of offensive efficiency that they did vs Buffalo.

I feel really good about this game. I think McVay & Stafford are in a zone right now. In their last 20 possessions, they've scored 11 TDs. It's all about the offense going forward. They are the reason we have 6 losses and they will be the reason we're successful, should we finish this season well.

Def hate the fact that Deebo is complaining about not getting the ball. He will be fed tonight and the wet field and that fact he is a Ram killer it not a great combo.
