Maybe Shane figures he needs a new schtick and he's trying the shock jock route now. Covering peewee league games won't garner much attention.

I PM'ed him telling him I live just blocks from the site and what I knew from the inside of city hall more than what the media was putting out. I asked him where he was getting his info about Carson. Of course I never heard from him.

And again that's what I don't understand? I realize you have an agenda, but report the facts too. Quite frankly bubba did not call Shane out on the board, which many do, however, did the gentlemanly thing and sent him a PM...And nothing? It amazes me and again, IMO, for credibility Shane should write about what he missed and why? Fine with me they are the Los Angeles Rams now and St. Louis is a city that lost two professional teams.

Sorry to say, but this is how most media works in this country, across all issues. Shane is just not very sophisticated, so he's not very good at covering his tracks and being subtle with the deceipt

C'mon,, Shane is a swell guy. He works out and got buff, he shaved his head to look cool, he tells people what they want to hear in the guise of journalism, he hangs with the guys at the STL PD,,, I mean do I need to go on ?

Perhaps he was testy be cause for his birthday, he lost his job (Rams leaving) and his appendix. Not Shane Grays best days.

But he needs to get over it because it's way to fun taking pot shots at him after all the slanted things he spouted.

These guys like Shane, hokahey, ZigZag, they always said they had their sources. Even though everything their sources were telling them turned out to be wrong, and over a long period of time, somehow that never entered into the equation with them.

Kind of make you wonder if they weren't just making the whole thing up...

They saw it he way they wanted to. If you hold you hand out in front of you in a stop gesture, you would describe the hand with finger nails where the person you are gesturing to stop would not. It's all about perspective and honesty. Clydesdale blinders were being worn with a huge pinch of bloated self worth. Losing the Rams after nestling in their cozy denial beds had to be a crushing blow...

I believe they had sources, but the quality of the source is the question? I recall that when the Rams moved to St. Louis I actually knew the receptionist at Rams park, I would call her to ask her what free agents were coming in and she responded by saying thinks like "A big African American gentleman was just here.".....Now she wasn't lying, but I always think about her when people say they have "inside information." Because people who truly have inside info, don't share it.

At best, they were hearing from sources planted firmly in the STL area who were sharing information with a decidedly STL-slant to it. I pointed out on a few occasions how "interesting" it seemed that pro-STL posters who claimed to have sources always shared "inside info" with only great news for STL. Turned out if they even had sources at all, my suspicions wound up being confirmed by the final outcome. It certainly wasn't all rosy for the "Rams staying" crowd.

I feel for the good fans there, but I can't stand the dishonesty of some posters. A lot of smoke was blown up many backsides throughout the past year.

Good ones kayfabe.

For those of us who can't unscramble as well, here are some anagrammers.

St Louis Rams = Sailors Smut, Liars Most US, LA Truism SOS
LA Rams = Alarms, LA Arms,
Los Angeles Rams = Maleness or slag, Ale lens orgasms
Charaiders = Crashed air, Archer aids, Crash aired, reach Raids.......

Kind of fun actually.

I saw ZigZag name thrown in and I think he was way above the Hokahey/Teamsport level. Always felt that he at least acknowledged the threat was real, but supported the cause. In fact, he basically dropped off the scene from what I could tell because he didn't like the way it was going.
Shane on the other hand is full of shit. He denounced any idea that the Rams would move. And when Houston came out he changed his tune to say that he saw both sides. The hell he did.
