He can not be forced to stay. They can get militant and force sanctions but all I have heard they really don't do anything. All the teams are important to each other equally as they are to themselves.

The Chargers and Raiders have local options. The Rams tried with St Louis but we all know the city did not get serious until Stan bought the land in Inglewood. Then it has been a sloppy process because Stan was so far ahead.

The reason the Chargers and Raiders don't have stadiums because they don't want to pay for them. I really think they don't have the cash to pay for the relocation fees as well. They are both playing their own game.

At the same time Mayor Butts was on Scott and BR saying just how ready Inglewood was to go. Scott said the Rams document cemented it for Inglewood. Butts said he wouldn't quite go that far since there was still a vote to be taken...

Did he say they spoke and might be close or are they still in the same spot.

Gotta think Vinny will write something soon.

But no, the gist was Dean and Stan need to make a deal and the rest of the owners have to make it happen since it's not happening on its own...

Spanos needs a spanking from the more adult old boys owners club. Then he'll come to the table and we'll have a deal.

Extortion is the crime of obtaining money or property by threat to a victim's property or loved ones, intimidation, or false claim of a right.

He would never sign something like that unless under a limited scope and a guarantee that he's getting LA alone..

I have no idea how the NFL evaluates proposal guarantees such as stadium open date, but you'd think they'd do a comp to Inglewood as part of a validation process.

You shouldn't be able to just toss out a date without detailed substantiation. Every proposal I've ever worked on required that.

I'll be shocked if Carson says they will guarantee to open by 2019. They haven't revealed their proposal yet and won't brief their plan until next week, thats a sign of an inferior plan, IMO.

Scott Reid was just on STL radio for 5 min and said the last 2 weeks the momentum for the riverfront plan died and it's not viable.

I have been reading comments by St Louis fans...the regular fans know this it. The trolls are trying to spin this into some comparison between the public money offer compared to Oakland and San Diego...WTF? Grasping at straws....

Just heard Vinny Bonsignor of the Daily News, said that owners rolled their eyes when the ST Louis proposal was brought before them....The owners knew the plan was not nearly good enough...Wow..I am actually starting to feel bad for the good St Louis Rams fans, as their dreams are crushed....
