If that kind of success is in our future, we will be wearing (and flaunting) that shit like nobody's business!!!
You're right but unfortunately it is far more likely that this new design goes the way of so many other teams. Instead of establishing a timeless, iconic look, it's just going to be a flash in the pan.

I suppose they are in a lose/lose situation. If they'd gone Broncos/Buc's level of re-design it would probably upset a lot of fans but doing this Lions/Dolphins "nudge" of a design seems so pointless and not exciting at all.

I guess that depends entirely on who's eyes are seeing it. For me, a new design, new uniforms, is exciting. It's something new to go out and buy!!!! :D

True, but I think we're talking "new" vs. "right". There's no denying it's new but after how many years, now? It took them all of this time and they are nowhere near right IMO.

I mean, how could you supposedly spend so much time and effort and research in all of this and then STILL put freakin' ewe(ew!) horns on the logo? I don't know if it's Nike, the Rams, DeMoff, Kroenke or all of the above but they do NOT get it. If nothing else, all they had to do was get the horns right and it would have been acceptable.

Not only did they not get them right, they made them WORSE.

only one team won more games during the 2000-2003 four-year stretch than the rams, and that one team didn't reach the super bowl during the stretch like the rams, yet rams fans continued to whine incessantly about the new uniforms during that time and never let up, alas... anyway, no doubt, winning tends to fix a lot of things!

But you gotta admit, those uniforms were certainly a downgrade. :D The only uniforms they ever won a Superbowl with were the blue and golds!! If they win another one or two with the new duds, who should complain?
