The story is clearly being put out there before the boa vote on purpose. JR istrying to get them to pass it. By getting approval he feels Kroenke will be stuck in St Louis and Spanos gets his way. To that I say, to hell with Spanos and Richardson.

There are so many moving parts to that. Who controls the NFL money? Where does the 100 mill even come from?
How much amusement tax gets collected annually?
Do they spin that 100 mill to be "public" funding? Does it replace another source?

My head is spinning trying to comprehend this.

Look at the exhibit, the G4 loan is now 300 million, not 200 million, there's the 100 million. All along it's been 450 million from the NFL/ESK with 161 in PSLs, now it's 550 million and 161 million.

So it comes to paying back the RSA. Before, it was coming from this amusement tax, that the NFL was claiming should be earmarked for the team. However, the RSA will be paid back now by team rent (that has increased to 1.5 million from 700 k) as well as I assume a much smaller share of the amusement tax.

Also, the total budget is now 1.1 billion, not 1.01 billion.

I saw the exhibit, Kroenke is basically responsible for 711 mill of 1.1 bill, or 65%. To be a tenant. Good grief
Im trying to comprehend the amusement tax.
That gets paid to St Louis, so the NFL (whoever that is) will give 100 mill to the project, and the city wont collect the amusement tax, instead, they'll raise rent by 800k per year
Seems like a good deal, for anyone but ESK

It's interesting, definitely seems like Richardson is trying to help his buddy Spanos. Nobody from the Kroenke camp is calling foul, so you have to imagine they have an ace up their sleeve that they will look to play. What it is and when they play it is the question now.

Not splitting hairs, but hasn't he been saying this for months. Roggin can't admit though that he doesn't know, so he's now changing his stance.

Things are definitely looking bad for LA Rams.

So much for Carson being a joke. Looks like the jokes on us.

Nah, when the league approves the Raiders/Charger relocation application, they abandon two long time California markets, and Kroenke decides to remain in St. Louis, then I'll concede. When Mark Davis, who is worth 500 million can come up with the loot to finance half a stadium plus his share of the relocation fee, I'll worry. This is all just more noise from the peanut gallery.

As I said, If Kroenke wants to stay in St. Louis or is asking to committee to negotiate for him, then I'll worry. Fred Roggin tweets won't change my mind.

ESK has his attorneys on speed dial. Those lines should be a blazin' right about now.
If JR and DS are colluding and now proposing a deal to StL with out full membership approval it's more of the same conflict. JR and DS are going to bear the brunt of the NFL's worse nightmare if the league backs their play. GF won a SB in StLoo after the crap she pulled. Spanos can't go fast enough and has been playing dirty. ESK has a bigger stick and I hope he uses it.
I will be very disappointed in him if he goes puf now.
