Speaking of stadiums, what's happening at the proposed Riverfront Stadium site with all the flood waters? Is this near there?

And they thought a rain delay was bad here in Cali.

I know people that are in the wrath of this disaster.

Lives ruined. Very sad.

A stadium is not in their concerns.

Of course their lives, farms, livestock and homes are of more importance than a defunct stadium plan. I have family in MO and OK who are affected.

I was just curious how that site is faring. After all the relo discussions regarding stadium sites and how safe Riverfront would be there, this terrible flood would be proof one way or the other...

The level of the 1993 flood (supposedly a 500 year event) was 49 foot. The current forecast is 46 foot. IIRC the north Riverfront stadium would have been built to not have water unless the Mississippi got to 51 or 52 foot level at the Arch. And I think one of the changes Stan demanded was a move to even higher like 53 foot. So if Stan would have been forced to stay here and the stadium was being built, it would have been fine.

Agree, I'm certainly no construction guru, but it sure seems a lot of work remains to get that place ready in 13+ months.

Yeah, It will be pretty interesting to watch the progress over the next 13 months. Then again, if the schedule was behind over even super tight you would think they would be working everyday, even around the clock if need be. Which doesn't seem to be the case.

My guess, roof on then interior finishes. Meanwhile they are dragging miles of cable. Parking lots go quickly.
