REGARDING MY VIEWS ON "CRITICIZING" & STILL BEING A PASSIONATE RAMS FAN
Yes, I have repeatedly maintained the following:
I've followed The Horns since Tony Guillory blocked Packer Donnie Anderson's punt in 1967.
During that time, even though I loved The Rams, I have criticized bad Ram decisions/situations as I see them, thoughout my decades of Rams Fandom.

I have never ever felt guilty about criticizing Rams Coaches, Players, Management whenever I felt it was called for....
BECAUSE FOLLOWING LOS RAMOS IS NOT A RELIGION!!!
IT'S FUCKING ENTERTAINMENT, PILGRIMS ....
& A FUCKING HOBBY!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!

That Ram criticism of mine started very early.....IE. when 1971 Rams HC Tommy AllegedChessMaster Prothro brought Lance DropYerPants! Rentzel into the Rams dressing room. Even as a High School kid, I knew having a perverted shit like Rentzel, who got shuffled outa Minnesota AND Dallas for exposing himself (IE. HIS DICK ) to young school girls, was totally a fooked-up move, and I chided Prothro for that, to my HS buddies (no internet back then folks!), who were mostly Cowboys, Browns and Packer fans. In fact, Jimmy Calla, our big Italian DT, and me (TE & OLB) were the only two Rams fans in a HS of 1,100 kids.

I look at my Rams fan journey as a hobby of 55 years that has provided entertainment (eg. Billy Waddy, SBXIV LiveInPasadena!, SBXXXIV, SBLVI ),
anguish (eg. all those Knox Team Playoff losses to Vikes, Cowboys, SBXXXVI & SBLIII),
and fraternity/fellowship (eg. I never would've met ramsrams, my Toronto compadre, nor VegasRam and his lovely wife, without RRF).

Other storied moments off the top-of-my-head...I met & had beers with Jack Youngblood, Dave Elmendorf, Isaiah Robertson, and Bob Klein at the then Buffalo Airport Playboy Club. More recently, I kibbutzed with Ron Jaworski at Oscar's in Vegas....and been to live Rams games in Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Seattle (numerous times).....and even in that sterile pregnant Hockey Arena/Warehouse, the Eddy Dome, in STL in 2005 & 2006. Met lively & stimulating fans throughout my many Ram travels.....no regrets from me.

In all these decades of dedicated Rams Fandom, I've always been in a numerical minority as a Rams fan....even these days at my MNF pub of 20+ years, my Nolan Cromwell away-jersey is surrounded by Seahawks Blue&Green.....
BUT, whatever W-L record my Rams are sporting, beit 11-5 or 1-15 (fucking Spags! ), I'm there in my Ram colors....it's my legacy, my stand....my reputation.

Here at RFU, yeah, yeah....I speak my mind if I want Spagnuolo fired, or a Aaron Kromer shit-canned, or think the 2018 Snead Draft sucked, or I am disappointed how Snead repeated his 2019 Ram OL fook-up....
AGAIN, this year!!! ...and got our stud QB Stafford concussed!
BTW, I am not saying that Snead should be fired right now....but be advised, if I ever do think Les Snead should be jettisoned by Kroenke, you RFU lot will be the first to know about it!

Back to "reputations".....yes, I have always advocated that guys here at RFU can criticize and moreover should be free to speak their minds on Tous Les Affaires de Rams......and without being slurred and attacked by their fellow posters. I've always said "Vive Les Differences" regarding divergent Ram fans' opinions.....and also that "we are all wired differently", and see things with differing slants/bias....
so yeah, let's hear all the Ram views. Why not?

So, if my reputation is one of being a critic....I'll take that.

BUT...
IMO what is annoying here at RFU is how opposing opinions get met occasionally with personal attacks/slurs from a couple of self-appointed Hallway Monitors alleging upon their fellow posters, the following...
-mental disorders (Alzheimer's),
-depression ("Exhale, walk back from the edge")....
and worse childish crappola ("your post looks like a letter written by an orangutan on crack" and those anti-Canada slurs).

The guys who write the shit like that have reputations too......and they aren't stellar ones.
Low-brow schoolyard putdowns is all that I see.

I am glad about one thing however.....I'm glad that the one guy said "ARMPUNTS" though....
because that's gonna stick....

LOL. Yeah I remember that comment on Siriani. That was after he equated building a football team to keeping a garden. "You have to water them. Nourish them. Talk to them. Fertilize them. So they can grow and flourish". Obviously with your extensive knowlege of football, you saw that as "deep" and "insightful" and knew he'd have the success he's had! Most thought it just a bit odd.

You corrected me by saying you blamed our D for our 3 game losing streak, not the O line but after our loss to Tennessee, you said the D played great..and had "nothing to hang their heads about"....the OL on the other hand sucked. Particularly the interior OL. Obviously, your opinion depends on your level of anger. I won't bring up Alzheimers as you've shown great recall on other historical things. Of course nothing to do with football, like 95% of every 1,000 word diatribe you post.

When complaining about Morris last year you listed all the great players he inherited from Staley....Donald, Floyd, Ramsey, Rapp....WTF? Rapp? See, right there, it takes a unique level of football knowledge to classify Rapp with those other guys! Something few football fans could see! I could only hope to arrive at the conclusions you do. Like realizing, despite the 9 drives of 14 vs Green Bay when our offense ran 4 plays or less, holding the ball as long as 0:43, 0:36, 0:41, 0:53 and a whopping 1:12, it was our defense who made us lose the TOP battle!!! Not to pat myself on the back but damn, check my post on this Thread, pg 44. That is the exact line I have except I have Shelton at OC if Allen is released and Allen or Shelton if Allen stays. Now my caveat is that I think the rams will add a decent to considerable number of OL to the team in the off-season. To upgrade depth and potentially up grade starters of the right guy(s) can be had.

I think that might be a pretty decent line and like you, I think Arcuri has promise. He gave up 3 pressures in the KC game. He will need to be tested more and chances are he will get another shot or 3 this season with our injury “luck”.
