Nobody is going to say “yes” or “no” because of latency outside of a few living in their basement dorks. But it’s one of those subtle things the services still need to address

Why? Because you say so?

Streaming is the future so, like it or not, here we go. There will certainly be problems.

Another thing that's part of the future is online sports betting and latency is gonna be a real issue for live betting.

But there's money in online gambling too, so pretty good motivation for figuring it out...

That's all I was saying. There's been one or two Bally's Sports games where the app hasn't worked on various streaming devices but the browser option still worked. So don't forget to check that.

Good advice as a backup. You should also set it up in advance - first time usage requires a little effort.

I hear you brother. I wasn't really grasping that with the growth of sports betting there will be demand for reduced latency. I think I just haven't reach that level of degenerate gambler .. yet ..

This shit is insane. So a playoff game wildcard weekend exclusively on Peackock. Really? This is where we are at? Well I guess I won’t be watching that game. But to a bigger aspect seems like we are headed to no regular TV station Football games. Looks like all playoff games will be on Streaming platforms.

Yes.

However, NBC Universal executives said the markets of the two teams competing in the wild-card matchup would receive the game through a local TV station, most likely an NBC affiliate.
