Horny Mcbae wrote:But it doesn't. The little blue bookmark next to the title of every thread indicates unread posts. When you click it (just once lol) it take you to wherever you left off. So in fact you don't miss any news or posts which you might miss if a stand alone thread was created for it and then pushed down to page 2 or something due to other threads being created like on a gameday. The forum is actually designed to be read like that.

There would be no compulsion for anyone to not start a new thread if indeed they have had an original thought or idea thats not being discussed in other threads.

See i disagree. In this case the threads were merged but 99% of the time they are not.

I understand thats the style you all are used to......... i just feel like the forum is very cluttered and the way we do things makes it harder to navigate it which matters when a person visits the site for the first time and is deciding whether to sign up or not. The visuals of RFU are second to none which is the major factor is attracting new members in my opinion. If it was more organized it would contribute in keeping those people here and keep them coming back. We are hardcore fans so we want every single bit of info about the Rams. It would be harder to miss an injury news if you saw the injury thread has been bumped and has unread posts.

Thanks for the blue button info. I never used it.

That being said, you have to be logged in to use it.

I do most of my reading not logged in. I usually only login when I want to post.

To each their own but I like the current format rather than a bunch of 100 page threads stuck to the top.

Of course I'm all on board with the Cheerleader sticky... 8-)

Oh and not hijacking the thread.

I'm glad Gurley is not seriously injured. Maybe they can build a big lead against the Cardinals and give him some much needed rest.

I meant the back of the cheerleader posters have to have "sticky" tape so I can hang them on my wall when "I'm finished" looking at them. Sorry if I was misleading. :oops2:

Sean McVay said "the expectation" is that Todd Gurley will play Sunday. McVay said Gurley came in today feeling better.

This quote is somewhat less certain:

McVay on Gurley: "It's going to predicated on what he says, what the doctors are saying. If there’s a chance that he’s going to do something that’s going to set him back for when you get into the playoffs, different things like that, that’s where we have to make smart decisions.

My read is that, if this were the week before a playoff game, there wouldn't even be a discussion. Gurley would be playing. Given the situation, however, I'm not certain he'll be in the lineup.

Certainly, the Rams should be able to beat the Cardinals without him, so erring on the side of caution seems to be on the table as an option.

I want Gurley to rest for multiple reasons. One, the Cardinals game should be winnable without him and he could use the rest. Two, as much as I love Gurley, IMO, a team needs the QB to be the unquestioned leader and winning a game without Gurley in the lineup would do wonders for Goff IMO. Maybe even McVay. While the Rams are in desperate need of a win and should get one at all costs this Sunday, there is a wonderful opportunity here to improve the team.

I would sit Gurley, go out and just put in a workman like day and beat a spiraling Cardinals team that has packed it in. Get the newly acquired CJ Anderson some work, let Goff and the passing game carry the offense and learn how to get the win without Gurley in there.
