RFU Season Ticket Holder by Rams5Fan 8 years 4 months ago Total posts: 44 Joined: May 11 2016 San Dimas CA Undrafted Free Agent Los Angeles Rams 2017 Season Ticket Renewals POST #42 Elvis, BuiltRamTough, BrendanOC6 liked this post I think the Rams are going to have a serious "eye opening" experience when it comes to season ticket renewals, for instance:Out of our large group of 17 different individual season ticket holders, who owned a total of 102 seats last year (averaged 6 seats per owner), we had a group meeting and we are giving up/reducing to just 36 seats.Group reasons in no particular order:1. Poor team performance2. Poor perceived team performance in 2017 and beyond3. Expense of tickets and parking4. Lack of interest to attend all 9 games5. Inability to sell tickets for even $25-$50 dollars to friends/family/anyone last 5 games of last season6. Perceived very high cost/unable to afford PSL licenses and seats for 2019 and beyond7. Lack of interest to be an individual season ticket holder8. Difficulty to get everyone together at same tailgate or seating section for such a large group9. Loss of money from inability to sell all tickets at even face value for games unable to attend due to work, travel, vacations, emergencies, etcSolution:1. Eliminate or reduce numerous seats per individual season ticket holder2. Maintain a reasonable amount (36 seats) of seats within the group so as to only attend a few games each year3. Maintain those seats to keep a place holder in line awaiting PSL prices and individual game ticket prices4. Purchase a smaller group of tickets at new stadium (25-30 seats) definitely closer or all together5. Realize and understand that everyone can't attend possible highly sought after home games6. 36 seats kept are those in best seating areas.....poor, nosebleed, bad neighbor fans, etc tickets eliminated7. This plan will allow everyone during 2019 season to experience one or two games at new stadium for a reasonable cost and "see how things shake out"For info what we did with our group. #GoRams #LoveNumberFiveNotFoles RFU Season Ticket Holder 3 by BrendanOC6 8 years 4 months ago Total posts: 89 Joined: Jun 22 2016 OC Practice Squad Los Angeles Rams 2017 Season Ticket Renewals POST #43 LA_1968 liked this post I was just sent an email alerting me that the new invoice for 4 seats was ready. It was the "Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park priority list." I attempted to place a deposit on this list but, it was rejected because of my current season ticket status. I then explained to the Rams I need to be on a list (even if further behind) because I might be on the East Coast for most/all of the 2017 season and, could not continue with 8 tickets.I was told I do not need to purchase 8 tickets for 2017. I will maintain my place in the original line based on my $100 deposit time if I buy 1 ticket. There would be no restriction on my allotment for Inglewood because I did not renew 8 seats. RFU Season Ticket Holder by WaddyWasWideOpen 8 years 4 months ago Total posts: 201 Joined: May 12 2016 LA Coliseum Rookie Los Angeles Rams 2017 Season Ticket Renewals POST #49 I am really struggling with deciding to renew or not for 2017 and 2018 without knowing what the PSL costs will be. I also dont like the limited options to move or change the number of seats. The Dodgers have a great system for Season Ticket holders to change seats, not sure why the Rams cant do something similar. Perhaps its because the Rams are just treading water until the new Stadium is open.Im leaning to not, as I dont want to spend 5K over the next two years just to hold my place in line for 2019 and wont be able to afford it. Very frustrating.Im still very happy the Rams are back and I always wanted to get in on the ground floor of tickets for a team in LA, but I dont know. This doesnt feel good.
