After reading some of this dudes tweets, it would appear he was hired to be exactly what he's being. An arsehole. Spanos is going out of his way to poison the well there. I hope it backfires on him. The other league owners can't take this seriously. Or the boohoo approach after trashing SD offeres for over a decade.
The SD team is not going to be received all that well in LA. At least not at first. And what's with this BringBackTheChargers group? Are they on Spanos' payroll as well? What a bunch of transparent crap.

I'm "borrowing" this from slipperydog at the skyscrapercity site [unnamed source speaks to radio person type of thing]:

"Of the six LA stadium committee members, they are currently at a 1-4-1 opinion, 1 in favor of the Chargers going to LA, 4 against the Chargers moving, and 1 of the six is on the fence."

This, according to a source who spoke to a local radio host in San Diego. (starts at 15:18)

Yeah, i heard Scott Kaplan say that 1-4-1 thing while i was listening in the car yesterday.

It still remains a mystery (to me) just what exactly the Chargers game plan is.

I know we've talked about this before, but anybody got a theory that can explain the Chargers' actions?

Rams approved. Move next year to Coliseum. Build sponsorships.

SD asked to work a bit longer in SD to get their downtown stadium. SD needs more time. If they don't get it done they are off to Inglewood in 2018. The Chargers want the LA market 2nd to getting the downtown stadium in SD, but they must keep up the charade to keep the city of SD hopping.
They act like they have no faith in SD which might very well be true, so they are fighting (flailing) for LA before it goes away,, just in case.
Their attempt is half arsed as we have all seen but that is because they weren't prepared for Stan to go supersize.

The Raiders are out of luck. How do you reward a team for floundering financially when one of the most wealthy team owners is putting together a perfect scenario in that same place and would lose out by that reward? So relocation fee funds and G-4 to Oakland and everybody except StL and possibly part of Spanos is happy.

This scenario also is much easier to digest from a PR standpoint and affords the most flexibility in terms of the Spanos factor.

Yes, yes, yes and yes! Hacksaw you totally nailed it. Downtown SD #1, into LA as the second Inglewood team #2. It's what I believe the
NFL wants too.
