IF WE BEAT THE EAGLES TONIGHT WE WILL BE IN FIRST PLACE IN THE NFC WEST!!!! TIED RECORD WITH THE HAWKS AND CARDS, BUT WE HAVE THE BEST DIVISION RECORD OF THE THREE. We beat the hawks; the cards beat (the hell out of )us; and the Hawks beat the Cards today. The tie breaker then is the division record and we have only lost one game.

unfortunately, we would not be in first place,
in common games played so far, those two teams have a better record,
because we lost to Miami, while they both beat Miami.

tiebreaker restarts at Step 1 of two-club format.

Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Strength of victory in all games.
Strength of schedule in all games.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed in all games.

After watching the refs assist the Eagles by doing something totally illegal anyone who thinks the NFL doesn't rig games because of the gambling odds is completely naive. The Eagles didn't need this ref assistance to win but it was given and it clearly changes the game.

The question is why didn't the NFL in NY prevent this? The answer is because its clearly a sanctioned act.

It's clear to me that the NFL is corrupt and it's gotten worse since they have embraced gambling.

This game may not have been an official playoff elimination but it was indicative of the team's potential. They played hard but were CLEARLY overmatched. It was men against boys. The Eagles are good but they aren't the only good NFL team. My expectations for the 2024 Los Angeles Rams are now which draft pick they get Yes...playoffs are still within reach but if the good teams are this much better then why get excited with playing one more game? And I think something I've suspected for a while was born out again...KW is a fumbler. He a decent back that can't hang on to the ball.

We are a young team and it showed tonight. The defense just couldnt plug the leaks, never stopped the run all night. Offense going 3 and out 3x in the first half played into the Eagles game plan. I am not discouraged at all that was a good lesson to be learned. We still have 6 games to keep improving. Here are some thoughts:

-Kyren is a fumbler, the league knows it, he has to be better or we have to go to Corum. Maybe start Corum against the Saints.

- The Rams played physical with the Eagles, it was good to see. Parkinson putting his head down and going for the extra yards by using his size was a thing of beauty. It was a great sign and what a TE should do, he put Slay out the game. Rams needed to get bigger shots on Hurts but they tried.

- Free Atwell. We MUST get this guy getting more plays. He literally cant be covered, he would be a great 3rd and medium go to, instead of Kupp who struggles with getting separation now. have not even mentioned we should take at least a shot a game downfield to Atwell.

- Fire up the kicking competition, we either need to add pressure to Karty or try the other guy they had in camp at this point.

- IMO these are our draft needs in order of importance.
OT, CB, ILB, QB (QB as when Matthew is gone we are done) Very clear, we arent good enough in these areas now and thinking of the future.

If you actually believe what you have posted here - Why would you follow the NFL, bother to root for a particular team like the Rams, spend lots of time posting in NFL forums etc.?

Agreed, BUT I need to hear the explanation on..

1. How is a play run but you can go back and say the red flag was thrown, never seen that ever?!?!?
2. How is a penalty unaccepted and then that team change their mind and accepts the penalty (after seeing our offense go on the field)???
