He said the reason the Vikings decline to move right now is they simply don't have the cap space. So apparently there is hope on both sides that the players stay healthy the rest of the season. Unless someone makes the Rams an offer they can't refuse the Rams probably stand pat this year. But I think the cat is out of the bag and changes are coming not just with the WRs but also at QB1. The problem is the Vikings could franchise tag Darnold and that would end that. Which is why they circle back to potentially having to draft a QB as the pool of good QBs as FA is very limited, i.e. Darnold probably being the best. Again it's why I think the Rams should think outside the box and trade for a young backup. You trade them out right now and we wouldn’t win another game and the Vikings would probably win the SB, IMO. by Elvis 1 month 4 weeks ago Total posts: 40095 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Kupp on Trading Block POST #48 TOPIC AUTHOR BobCarl liked this post Jake E. has said he's been told the Rams like Darnold as a potential QB of the future for whatever that may be worth. But Dare, you and your buddy seem to be forgetting about JJ McCarthy. If the Vikings tried to get Stafford it would be for right now, because they think they can win the SB this year. Not for the future. That would be ridiculous. Stafford is very close to the end of his career and the Vikings used the 10th pick on their QB of the future... Tanner McKee being a perfect fit for McVay's offense and is #3QB in Philly. 1 Reply 5 / 6 1 5 6 Display: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by: AuthorPost timeSubject Sort by: AscendingDescending Jump to: Forum Rams/NFL Other Sports Rams Fans United Q&A's Board Business 58 posts Dec 22 2024

He isn’t half the QB Staff is. If he didn’t have the defense he has and the weapons he’d be barely pedestrian.
