Wagner was good but we have Earnest Jones inside and he is not really needed. Makes sense to let him move on. If we trade Ramsey I want to see significant draft capital in return. If not, keep him.

Ya...I do. This merry-go-round of talent lately is putting me off. I don't look at any team as just a name. I look at it as a group of individuals who come together for a cause. I'm no Pollyanna in that regard but dumping the guy who actually was one of if not the best performer in a losing year doesn't inspire much confidence or anything positive in ME.

No offense on Wagner, but he is a Seahawk not a Ram. His played well but the team was only 5-12, so it’s tough to argue he made a big difference. Local bias is what it is, but I am not from SoCal and didn’t attend the University of Spoiled Children 😂 so all I care is Les builds a winning roster.

Local talent? More SoCal college players on the Rams? Don't teams like USC and UCLA recruit players from outside the state? I second the idea, I don't care where they come from, just build an annual winner. Besides, when was the last time USC or UCLA won anything of significance?

Wagner didn't attend USC. He went to Utah State.

And he's not a Seahawk anymore. I'm sorry to see him go. He should have been a Ram from the start.

Wagner is most definitely a Seahawk at heart.

Actually he's a Colony Titan at heart. Does appearances there and gives back to his local community in many ways. Even visits his former middle school every year. He was thrilled to be a Ram. I know that for an absolute fact. Football is a business...for players and management alike. I get it but every once in a while it gets personal for me and it was for both Bobby and Woody. I'm sure I'll still support the Rams with a full throat but letting those two go pisses me off.

I can appreciate your sentiment. Personally the guys on the team matter to me, you invest in them as a fan. I dont want to cheer for a bunch of a-holes. I dont like seeing either go as well, especially when you can tell they were fully invested. I hated seeing our safety JJ leave he was such a Ram, who knows maybe we will get Woods or Johnson back. Ultimately the cap and structure of pay of QB's and elite players forces these decisions, but it doesnt make it easy to deal with.

Did they designate Wagner a post June 1st move? Or doesn't it become official until the 15th? OTC still has him listed while having the Rams 3.8 OTC.

So what did they save with the cuts/trades?

Started out 14.8 mil over the cap

Saved 3 mil on Floyd (11.8 otc)
Saved 4.6 on Ramsey (7.2 otc)
Saved 4.5 on 7 players (2.7 otc)
Will save 5 mil on pre 6/1 Wagner, 8 mil on a post 6/1 cut. (-2.3 mil to -5.3 mil)

I'm sure they're not done with releases/trades.
