Smaller and athletic, Wolford's own strengths -- namely extending plays -- might work against him considering durability has already been an issue in two years with Los Angeles. But Sean McVay likes his gusto, and he fared well as a starter in the AAF.

I'm one of those who didn't like how Wolford played when he did. I think they can do better than him.

If he ever proves me wrong (and here's hoping he never gets the chance) I promise not to complain.

Hey, sure he's quiet and uninteresting.
To me, Wolford is the Fire Engine at the Airport....
IE. quiet & boring just sitting in the background, and you hope you never ever have to use him.

OTOH, have you guys read about NY Jets QB Zach Wilson, whose mom Lisa Wilson is some "Instagram influencer" with over 100,000 followers. So apparently, Zach Wilson broke up with his GF, who is now GF to Zach Wilson's former College TeamMate in Utah somewhere.

Anyhoo, in some weird way, Wilson's former GF let's it slip out in social media that Zach Wilson boinked one of his mom Lisa's lady friends, and now everybody, thanks to the NY media, knows about it.

JMO, but I prefer our backup Ram QB to just be boring and well under the radar.....and hopefully Los Ramos never need him on the gridiron after the PreSeason.

Your last sentence is how I feel about Wolford.
Any player, starter of backup is best staying out of the media in a distracting way. A superior athlete isn't necessarily going to be that distraction like the NY cougar hunter. I just want a guy to come in and maintain the game flow, , be able to make all the plays and not let the opponent steal mimentum on D (in this case).

IMO, I see Wolfie getting cut,

I don't see other teams going after him.

Then the RAMs can resign him on the PS.

In which no other team can sign him as a protected vet on the PS.

Thats how I would keep him on the team.

Maybe some time next week,

But from what I'm hearing and reading,

The Defense have been loving Wolfie with all of the picks he has been throwing.

That being said, it doesn't look good for him so far.

I hope McVay gets over his man crush on Wolfie and moves on from him.

Give Perkins a chance as QB2, then put Perez in the PS as a protected Vet.
