I wouldn't doubt her,

For one, Kevin O'Connell is the new HC,

he could want Woods because he would know his system to build on, in the WR room.

Oh trust, I do t want it to happen. I’m just speculating as Jourdan is. Edge is a serious need. KO is the HC in Minny. They can’t handle his salary. It makes some sense. Depends a lot on if they sign OBJ and how they feel about his ACL. Then it becomes a lot more plausible, me thinks.

I agree that Woods for Hunter trade makes sense for both the Vikings and the Rams - also the O'Connell connection. Plus I see their young WR Justin Jefferson as a more elite version of Woods but he can learn from Woods' work ethic and team-first mentality. So I see a good likelihood of this trade.

However, I don't think keeping Woods and re-signing OBJ are out of the question. Woods won't be back until mid-season and OBJ won't be back until end of the season. We have no idea how fully recovered they will be at that point. Many players don't fully recover from a knee injury until their 2nd season post-injury. So having Kupp-Robinson-Jefferson as your starting 3 for at least half the season and then having Woods/OBJ as mid to late season injury replacement sounds good to me.

The other possibility is trading Van Jefferson to Minnesota - the Vikings need a 3rd WR and a potential replacement for Thielen (but they would end up with 2 WR's named Jefferson :D ). Also the O'Connell connection.

Finally, another dark horse possibility is trading either Woods or Jefferson to Detroit. God knows Detroit needs weapons and obviously, Woods and Jefferson already have experience working with Goff. I think a 4th round pick might work for both teams.

My favorite option is either keeping all of them or trading Woods to Minnesota for Hunter.

All plausible. The thing about any trade is getting salaries as a wash; $ out and $ in. As opposed to trying to sign someone like a Clowney or ZaDarius Smith, etc. different types of cap management.

My bad, I wasn't aware of that return date for Woods. WR seems to be one of those spots where we seem to be invulnerable until we aren't. I like the Robinson deal.

I also would like to retain Michel, as unreasonable as that sounds.

More help needed on defense, too, as in Fowler or Wagner or Littleton or others...

and I mention he is not that type of WR.

Well now we have Allen Robinson who can go up and get it.

He has good height and hands and seems to be a good kid. I’m excited to watch him play with a real QB.

His wife.
