Win or lose, I miss them already. Being the reigning champion sure does make the offseason go down a lot smoother though..

This SB reminds me of the 86 Season. The Broncos were like the Bengals the new flavor on the menu, "the drive" came from behind in OT beat the favored Browns. Then all the talk was about Elway and the Broncos can pull the upset. Then they walked into the Rose bowl and got there ass beat down by the Giants who were the much superior team.

Mr. Sparkle wrote:So what team do you think was/is better? This one or the 2018? Having Suh next to Donald was a sight to behold. And Cooks was great to stretch the field. Even Greg The Leg was fantastic.
BUT I think McVay having this much more experience, and the way this teams plays together, I think this one is better than the last.

I did look over that 2018 season and damn did they destroy everyone.

Just a fun bar conversation to have.

A fun discussion to be sure

Offensively this is the better team talent wise (specically talking about the team that played/or will play in the actual game

Stafford >Goff
Akers/Michel > Hurt Gurley/Anderson
Kupp/OBJ/Jefferson > Woods/Cook/Reynolds
TE & OL are basically a push and could be argued either way.

Defensively is much harder. The DL of both teams are phenomenal. AD/Suh/Brockers is probably a little better than AD/Robinson/Gaines. I like our rotational depth with this current team though.
Outside linebackers - I give the edge to this current team. How to you argue against Von Miller/ Floyd
Inside LB- Definitely the 2019 team.
CB- Outside of Ramsey, the 2019 team was better....I think
S- I would also give the nod to the 2019 team with JJ and Joyner.
K- I have all the confidence in the world for Gay inside 50 yds. Outside of that I like Greg Z
ST as a whole. We seem to have turned a corner, especially in the return game and I honestly cannot remember our 2019 ST being anything spectacular so I am just going to say a push.
Coaching- This is a more experienced McVay and he learned a lot from that loss so I am going to take 2022 McVay over the 2019 version.

If they had to play head to head. I say this current team wins 7 out of 10 games against the 2019 version.

Quickly seeing the national media is into the "Darling Bengals". I love the Rams side of this. Stay quiet and take there heart early in the game. I feel the Bengals will be in awe of the Super Bowl their first time.

How many of the Bengals staff/players have ever been in a Super Bowl? Compare that with the Rams. I guess the know nothing is a powerful opiate, but experience is vital as well.

Yes, but China only controls the NBA.
