1. I'm not convinced that's true. I don't think the SD market would be more attractive for the Raiders than the No. Cal. market. Also, the Raiders would probably need to know that they would be able to get a stadium built before committing to SD.

2. I agree with that.

3. I agree, but I'm not concerned about it being an issue. If they don't "win" (10+ wins/playoffs) this season, it will happen soon.

4. I don't like the STL colors or logo, and I hope it's changed for this season. If it's not changed for this season, it will be changed soon.

Max what venue will the Chargers play in? I don't think the coliseum can handle three teams playing there, do you?

And Davis and Spanos bond couldn't be broken during the owners meeting. Loyal to a fault. Now they'd throw each other to the wolves

Don't know. They'll figure it out.

Max, why are you so convinced this will go thru, and go thru quickly?

Not sure what the Chargers will do but the longer they wait, the further ahead the Rams get in L.A.

OTOH, maybe the Chargers best play would be to stall hoping the Raiders commit elsewhere and then whatever the Chargers do, the Raiders won't be able to muck it up...

I'm thinking that the Chargers...

1. Secure the Option to move to LA.
2. Use this option to:
2a. negotiating leverage to get a stadium in SD
2b. buy time until Raiders get stadium in Oakland.

They've already secured the option.

The deal in Houston gives the Chargers 1 year to decided if they're moving to L.A.

But if they want to come for the 2016 season, they have to make that decision pretty soon...

That's correct. If the Chargers want to play in LA in 16', they have to decide by March. I'm not sure the date, but I think it's around March 15th.

Problem is where will they play? Coliseum said only 1 team and it seems that's the Rams.
