I've never heard him express anything but gratitude toward the Rams for the opportunity. Not since he got to Arizona, anyway. He even made peace with Martz.

He's a smart guy. Do you expect him to actually say the Rams screwed him? I never heard him say anything bad about the Rams either but I think there's some lingering butt hurt there. It comes across when discussing the Rams. Maybe I'm imagining it?

To me, he comes across as sincere and genuine.

Over the years, numerous local Phoenix sports talk show hosts have given him ample opportunities to express a negative view of the Rams. He just doesn't do it. It just doesn't seem to me like he has negative feelings toward the Rams.

Here's the thing, There is clearly something there because this sentiment regarding KW is not new. Where there is smoke, there usually is fire. It's really never what he says but what he fails to say. I think Kurt is the type of guy that subscribes to the "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all".

Lets visit this topic later in the week as it gets closer to game time and see what, if anything comes from KW regarding this matchup. I feel there will be a noticeable AZ slant. And once again, that's his prerogative and doesn't make him a bad guy.

I just don't see how playing the movie at SoFi pencils out to be anything but a loss. I think the Rams organization have no desire. They are looking forward, not backwards and not to something that happened in another city with a player that, up to this point, has not really put in the work to generate excitement for this current team. They owe KW nothing just as KW owes the Rams nothing.

You could very well be correct. Think it was a few years back now and forgive me don't recall all the details. However, the long and short of it was that Stan had a sports channel and it showed hunting elephants or something that was questionable. Anyway I took the position that money would matter more.

In the end though again forgetting the details but think Stan did back away. So he did show that he could and would be influenced by the marketplace that LA is.

So to me again I see this as no big deal and that money will win out. With that said however, you live there and have a better finger on the feelings of folks in the area. So if they don't show it, would not shock me cause going by the parameters I have used. Your assessment is bound to be more accurate than mine because you have more of a feel of the pulse there than I do.

This is a key point. Doesn't make sense that this Rams organization sees putting stuff that happened in STL on a SoFi screen as a good idea. They've done so much to distance themselves from STL. My bet is that it ain't happening.

I'm not really sure what showing the Kurt movie at Sofi even means, have a special screening there? Promote it during games?

Anyway i think you're wrong about these Rams distancing themselves from their St. Louis past. They've embraced the GSOT and their players. You see it all the time everywhere, Legends Community, memorability, whatever.

Here's a poster they gave out on Legends Day at camp this year:

Like you and others have said this is business, money, the Rams are gonna turn their backs on any chance to expand the brand, increase revenue because of what some perceive as a slight?

And this isn't just the Kurt Warner story. It's the Rams brand in a Hollywood movie. You don't think the Los Angeles Rams are gonna try and capitalize on that? You don't think they'll have Zach Levi and Anna Paquin at a game, that kind of stuff?

Doesn't seem very likely to me...

The "Stockboy" to player is just fine with me. Obviously a genius prognosticator he is not.
I feel we hold him in reverence since he won the Rams only Superbowl. We were not his only team that made the show, so there is that.

Now if he starts dissing us, that's different..

Personal feelings about Warner vary and that is all fine.

But yeah, this is Rams history too as far as the story goes. I love Heaven Can Wait as it is Rams jerseys, but this one is a story we all lived/experienced as fans.

Celebrate the guy who won our first SB in December and the one who won our second one in February. :D

Here's NFL Gameday doing their thing outside of SoFi since that's where their studio and the NFL Network is. So again, just can't imagine anything but love and cooperation between all involved...
